The Camp Relocation is the end-game move of the Greymane camp from its starting site at Howling Hill to Pailune. The move opens after the main campaign and the Scattered Embers questline are complete and unlocks a new Spacious Pailunese House layout, a doubled farm and ranch footprint, and access to Pailune's town shops and NPCs as part of the camp infrastructure.

What Changes After the Move
Map. The camp's fast travel target moves from Howling Hill to a Pailune-side residence. Existing fast travel points around Howling Hill remain available for general exploration.
Layout. The Spacious Pailunese House layout becomes available in the Select House picker. It has the largest interior of any layout and supports the full set of new Patch 1.04.00 storage containers.
Farm and ranch. The Pailune farm and ranch zones are roughly double the area of Howling Hill's, which lets the player place more crops and livestock without trading off camp facilities for them.
NPCs. Greymane comrades fan out across Pailune town. After post-launch tuning the crew clusters in the northwest part of town with vendor icons on the map; that pass landed in Patch 1.03.00.
Vendors. Pailune town's existing merchants are accessible alongside the Greymane stalls, including the Back Alley Shop that sells the Riding Cloak at trust 100.
Private Storage. After the move the player receives a Private Storage item that can be placed through Housing and Farming mode in the new residence.
Patch 1.04.02 Furniture Persistence
Before Patch 1.04.02, relocating to Pailune wiped any furniture the player had placed at Howling Hill. The 1.04.02 follow-up made furniture persist across the move: items placed through Housing and Farming mode at the Howling Hill residence travel with the move and are re-stocked in the new Pailune house. This means players no longer need to manually re-place every piece after the relocation cutscene, though they may still want to choose a different layout via Select House once they see the new floor plan.
Tips
Save before triggering the move. Some players have run into issues with quest progression, NPC placement, or comrade scattering after the relocation cutscene; a manual save before accepting The Return Home gives a cleaner rollback if something looks wrong.
Take stock of the Howling Hill area before moving. Wells, ore nodes, and gathering points around Howling Hill remain available for ordinary gathering, but the camp facilities themselves are no longer there.
Don't relocate too early. The move requires every prerequisite checkbox above. Triggering it before the campaign is complete is not possible.
