Overview

Camp Funds are the shared communal currency in Crimson Desert used for maintaining and operating the Greymane camp at Howling Hill. Unlike personal silver that belongs to Kliff, camp funds are collective resources managed for the entire group. They cannot be converted back into personal currency.
Camp funds become increasingly important as the game progresses. Early camp expansions cost modest amounts, but later upgrades and the Pailune reconstruction project can require over 100,000 camp funds, making it essential to maintain steady income.

How to Earn Camp Funds
There are several ways to accumulate camp funds:
Donating Silver
The most direct method is donating personal silver to the camp. Talk to Carl (the Provisions Keeper) at Howling Hill and select the "Manage Camp Provisions" option. Use the "Donate Funds" function (F on keyboard, Y/Triangle on controller) to convert your silver into camp funds.
Gold Bar Conversion
A faster way to boost camp funds in bulk is through gold bars. At any bank, you can convert 500 silver into one gold bar. Donating a gold bar to your camp provisions yields 50,000 camp funds. For context, the fourth camp expansion costs around 100,000 camp funds, which is just two gold bars.
Security Dispatch Missions
Security dispatch missions are a steady passive income source. These missions are typically available at manors and noble estates. Two reliable early options in the Hernand region are Oaken Shield Manor and Hillside Manor. Running these missions consistently provides enough camp funds to cover most early and mid-game expenses without needing to farm gold bars.
Wagon Trading
Selling packaged trade goods at trading posts generates camp funds directly. The profits from wagon deliveries go into the camp fund pool, not into Kliff's personal wallet. Cycle-based price fluctuations mean savvy traders can maximize profits by buying low and selling high.
What Camp Funds Are Used For
Dispatch missions: Sending comrades on missions often requires a camp fund investment.
Camp expansions: Each expansion of the Greymane camp costs camp funds alongside other resources (food, wood, stone, armor provisions).
Construction projects: The Pailune reconstruction project and barracks upgrades are among the most expensive uses, with some individual projects costing 20,000+ armor provisions and significant camp funds.
Combat missions: Large-scale combat dispatch missions require camp funds as part of their cost.
Tips
If you have access to gold bars (from the bank, treasure trader goblins, or All Gold Bar Locations), donating them is by far the fastest way to stockpile camp funds.
Security missions at manors provide the most reliable passive camp fund income in the early game. Run them continuously while doing other activities.
Camp funds become much more important in the late game. The fourth camp expansion alone can cost around 100,000 camp funds, and subsequent Pailune reconstruction projects add up quickly.
