Minor Capricorn Ring is an uncommon ring in Windrose. It modifies crude damage (blunt) when worn in an accessory slot. It is the entry-tier ring in its line, made from basic silver and accessible almost as soon as you build a Jewelery Table.

Crude damage covers blunt-force attacks. The weapons that deal Crude in Windrose are the Club and the heavier mace-type weapons, plus unarmed strikes and most mining swings. The bonus is a flat percentage added on top of the weapon's listed Crude value, so it scales with stronger weapons: a 6% lift on a low-tier club is small, but the same 6% on a late-game Sturdy Mace is a meaningful chunk of damage. It does nothing for Slash, Pierce, or firearm builds, so equip it only when your main hand is a blunt weapon.
The Minor Capricorn Ring is the Crude-damage member of a family of accessory rings, each tuned to a different damage layer. If your build does not use blunt weapons, one of the sibling rings will help more:
Ring | Damage Layer | Best For |
|---|---|---|
Crude | Club and mace builds, plus mining | |
All melee weapons | Builds that swap between weapon types | |
Slash | Saber and Greatsword builds |
Crafted at the Jewelery Table. The Jewelery Table is the accessory workbench in Windrose and must be placed indoors under a roof and within range of a Bonfire to function. Building it the first time requires Wood, Foothills Iron Ingot, and Silver Ingot.

Rings in the Capricorn Ring line share the same effect and only differ in magnitude. The Minor Capricorn Ring sits at the Uncommon tier and is the cheapest, needing only Silver Ingot. The Rare and Epic tiers step up to richer materials (the top Major Capricorn Ring calls for Tumbaga Ingot and Sapphire), so the Minor ring stays useful as an early-game stopgap until those resources are available. The full line:
Tier | Ring | Effect |
|---|---|---|
Uncommon | Minor Capricorn Ring | Increases Crude Damage by 6% |
Rare | Increases Crude Damage by 9% | |
Epic | Increases Crude Damage by 12% |
Windrose characters have three accessory slots: one ring slot, one necklace slot, and one miscellaneous slot. Only one ring can be worn at a time, so pick the one whose bonus best matches your primary weapon or task.
When you have access to higher-tier materials, upgrade to the Capricorn Ring for a stronger bonus.
Any ring crafted at the Jewelery Table can be broken down at the Disassembly Table, returning a portion of its silver. If you swap to a different ring effect, disassembling the old one recovers some of the materials.
Crude is a narrow damage type. If you find yourself switching to a Saber or Greatsword, swap to the Corsair Ring (Slash) or a Ring of Bravery (all melee) instead, since this ring only boosts blunt hits.
This ring radiates brute strength. It's so heavy it could serve as a knuckle-duster.
