Minor Cutthroat Ring is an uncommon ring in Windrose. It modifies critical damage when worn in an accessory slot. It is the entry-tier ring in its line, made from basic silver and accessible almost as soon as you build a Jewelery Table.

Effect
Increases Critical Damage by 10%
Critical damage boosts only the extra damage dealt on a crit. The bonus does nothing until a crit actually triggers, so pair it with weapons or rings that raise Critical Hit Chance to make the most of it.
How to Obtain
Crafted at the Jewelery Table. The Jewelery Table is the accessory workbench in Windrose and must be placed indoors under a roof and within range of a Bonfire to function. Building it the first time requires Wood, Foothills Iron Ingot, and Silver Ingot.

Tips
Windrose characters have three accessory slots: one ring slot, one necklace slot, and one miscellaneous slot. Only one ring can be worn at a time, so pick the one whose bonus best matches your primary weapon or task.
Cutthroat (crit damage) only pays off when you actually crit, so combining it with a Jaguar Ring (crit chance) is the standard pairing.
When you have access to higher-tier materials, upgrade to the Cutthroat Ring for a stronger bonus.
Any ring crafted at the Jewelery Table can be broken down at the Disassembly Table, returning a portion of its silver. If you swap to a different ring effect, disassembling the old one recovers some of the materials.
Upgrade Path
The Minor Cutthroat Ring is the Uncommon entry tier of the Cutthroat line. It costs only three Silver Ingot, so it is usually the first crit ring you can afford right after building a Jewelery Table. As you gather better materials, replace it with the Rare Cutthroat Ring and then the Epic Major Cutthroat Ring for double and triple the Critical Damage bonus respectively. Disassembling the old ring at the Disassembly Table returns part of its silver toward the upgrade.
Pairing With Critical Hit Chance
Critical Damage only adds to the bonus damage of a crit, so the ring is dead weight until a crit actually lands. Because a character can wear only one ring, you cannot stack crit chance and crit damage on the rings alone; instead pair the Minor Cutthroat Ring with a weapon, Mastery investment (each point adds 0.5% crit), or a Jaguar Ring rotation that supplies the Critical Hit Chance. With no source of crits, a plain damage option is often the safer early pick.
Flavor Text
They say Francis Drake cast a ring like this after his first raid on Nombre de Dios, where he seized Spanish gold. The Spaniards, of course, put a huge bounty on his head for the insult.
