Spear-Thrower's Ring is a rare ring in Windrose. It modifies pierce damage when worn in an accessory slot. It is the mid-tier ring in its line, carrying a stronger bonus than the Minor version and worth upgrading to once you have access to Sapphire.

Pierce damage applies to thrusting attacks from spears, rapiers, pikes, and most thrown weapons. Wear this ring on builds that use a piercing main weapon or spear throws.
Crafted at the Jewelery Table. The Jewelery Table is the accessory workbench in Windrose and must be placed indoors under a roof and within range of a Bonfire to function. Building it the first time requires Wood, Foothills Iron Ingot, and Silver Ingot.
The recipe spends Silver Ingot, smelted from silver ore at a Smelting Furnace, together with Sapphire, a blue gem cut from raw crystal. Gather the gem stock before placing the order so a full batch of rings can be queued at once.

Rings in the Spear-Thrower's Ring line share the same base effect; each tier increases the magnitude. The Spear-Thrower's Ring sits at the Rare tier. The full line:
Tier | Ring | Effect |
|---|---|---|
Uncommon | Increases Pierce Damage by 6% | |
Rare | Spear-Thrower's Ring | Increases Pierce Damage by 9% |
Epic | Increases Pierce Damage by 12% |
Each tier can be crafted from scratch, or ascended up from the tier below at the Jewelery Table. Ascending the Rare Spear-Thrower's Ring into the Epic Major Spear-Thrower's Ring reuses the lower ring plus extra Gold Ingot and Silver Ingot, which is cheaper than building the top tier from raw materials.
Pierce Damage covers thrusting and thrown attacks, so this ring rewards Rapier, spear, and pike playstyles. It does nothing for slashing or blunt weapons such as the Saber or Club, so match the ring to your main-hand weapon's damage type.
Windrose characters have three accessory slots: one ring slot, one necklace slot, and one miscellaneous slot. Only one ring can be worn at a time, so pick the one whose bonus best matches your primary weapon or task.
When you have access to higher-tier materials, upgrade to the Major Spear-Thrower's Ring for a stronger bonus.
Any ring crafted at the Jewelery Table can be broken down at the Disassembly Table, returning a portion of its silver. If you swap to a different ring effect, disassembling the old one recovers some of the materials.
The black stone set in the ring resembles obsidian, from which ancient peoples crafted spearheads.
