Increases melee weapon Damage by 8%
Melee damage is a blanket multiplier that applies to all close-range weapons regardless of damage type. Use this ring if your build swaps between swords, maces, and spears and you want a single accessory that always helps.
How to Obtain
Crafted at the Jewelery Table. The Jewelery Table is the accessory workbench in Windrose and must be placed indoors under a roof and within range of a Bonfire to function. Building it the first time requires Wood, Foothills Iron Ingot, and Silver Ingot.

Tips
Windrose characters have three accessory slots: one ring slot, one necklace slot, and one miscellaneous slot. Only one ring can be worn at a time, so pick the one whose bonus best matches your primary weapon or task.
Any ring crafted at the Jewelery Table can be broken down at the Disassembly Table, returning a portion of its silver. If you swap to a different ring effect, disassembling the old one recovers some of the materials.
Flavor Text
A Spanish ring for toreros brave enough to step into the arena against raging bulls.

Plague Halberd Specific Note
This is the correct ring for the Plague Halberd. The halberd's five-stack special triggers a wide AoE explosion that the game classifies as melee damage even though it visually reads as a shockwave, so the +8% bonus on this ring boosts both the basic swings and the boom. Crude damage rings only buff the basic crude swing and add nothing to the explosion or to the heal it triggers. In V2 testing, swapping from no ring to the Major Ring of Bravery on the same halberd raised the recorded boom from 3,100 to 3,381 damage, which lines up cleanly with the listed melee multiplier.
Plague Halberd: +8% applies to basic swings AND the AoE boom. Crude rings only buff the basic swing.
Soul Eater and Arboris Saber: basic swings are melee-typed and benefit from +8%. The Soul Eater drain pulse is also melee-typed; the Arboris Saber plague-echo special is not, but its swings still gain the bonus.
Build Inclusion
The Major Ring of Bravery is the default ring slot in non-crit melee builds. It appears in the V2 Plague Halberd boarding setup as the boom multiplier, in the V3 Boarding Bomber loadout that pairs Plague Halberd with Soul Eater on the hot bar, and as the standard accessory for any strength build running the Pikeman Set two-handed bonus. It pairs naturally with the Dominating Presence talent during boarding, where the post-kill melee buff stacks with the ring's base bonus for short windows of very high melee output. Crit-focused rapier and sniper builds prefer crit-damage or pierce rings, but for any non-crit melee build this is the default choice.
