Increases Pierce Damage by 12%
Pierce damage applies to thrusting attacks from spears, rapiers, pikes, and most thrown weapons. Wear this ring on builds that use a piercing main weapon or spear throws.
How to Obtain
Crafted at the Jewelery Table. The Jewelery Table is the base accessory workbench in Windrose. It must be placed indoors under a Roof and within range of a Bonfire to function, and it is one of only three base stations that demand a roof. Building it the first time costs Wood x10, Foothills Iron Ingot x5, and Silver Ingot x3, and the finished station has 4,500 max health.
Two upgrade extenders, the Jeweler's Bench and the Jewelery Cabinet, slot into the table footprint to widen its recipe list. The ring economy runs in stages: produce the base ring first, then feed it back into the table with Gold Ingot and Silver Ingot plus the gem upgrade to reach the Major tier. See the Ascend Cost table below for the exact upgrade ingredients.

Tier Comparison
Rings in the Spear-Thrower's Ring line share the same base effect; each tier increases the magnitude. The Major Spear-Thrower's Ring sits at the Epic tier. The full line:
Tier | Ring | Effect |
|---|---|---|
Uncommon | Increases Pierce Damage by 6% | |
Rare | Increases Pierce Damage by 9% | |
Epic | Major Spear-Thrower's Ring | Increases Pierce Damage by 12% |
Governed Playstyle
Pierce damage covers thrusting and stabbing attacks, so this ring rewards builds whose main weapon deals pierce. The Rapier is the clearest fit, and pierce also applies to thrown attacks, so spear-throw playstyles gain from the same bonus. Because the boost is a flat percentage on pierce, it does nothing for blunt or slashing weapons; wear it only when your damage is genuinely piercing. Precision-scaling builds that lean on the Rapier line through the Precision stat get the most consistent return.
Crafting Materials
Every ingredient in the recipe is gathered or refined elsewhere in the world before you reach the Jewelery Table. Plan a short gathering loop so you have all three stacks ready.
Material | Source | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Smelted from silver ore at a smelting furnace. | Also returned when you disassemble the ring, so the silver cost is partly recoverable. | |
Recovered from chests tied to Blackbeard Treasure Maps. | The same ascension metal used to push weapons from Rare to Epic, so it competes with your weapon upgrades. | |
A Rare gem found in ancient vaults out in the world. | Stacks to 100 and feeds 54 different jewelery recipes, so gather it in bulk. |
Tips
Windrose characters have three accessory slots: one ring slot, one necklace slot, and one miscellaneous slot. Only one ring can be worn at a time, so pick the one whose bonus best matches your primary weapon or task.
Any ring crafted at the Jewelery Table can be broken down at the Disassembly Table, returning a portion of its silver. If you swap to a different ring effect, disassembling the old one recovers some of the materials.
Flavor Text
The black stone set in the ring resembles obsidian, from which ancient peoples crafted spearheads.
