Jaguar Ring is a rare ring in Windrose. It modifies critical hit chance when worn in an accessory slot. It is the mid-tier ring in its line, carrying a stronger bonus than the Minor version and worth upgrading to once you have access to Sapphire.

Effect
Increases Critical Hit Chance by 7.5%
Critical hit chance is a flat probability added to every damaging attack. It stacks with Critical Damage sources, so running a Jaguar Ring alongside a Cutthroat Ring turns each lucky crit into a much bigger spike.
How to Obtain
Crafted at the Jewelery Table. The Jewelery Table is the accessory workbench in Windrose and must be placed indoors under a roof and within range of a Bonfire to function. Building it the first time requires Wood, Foothills Iron Ingot, and Silver Ingot.

Tier Comparison
Rings in the Jaguar Ring line share the same base effect; each tier increases the magnitude. The Jaguar Ring sits at the Rare tier. The full line:

Rare | Jaguar Ring | Increases Critical Hit Chance by 7.5% |
Epic | Increases Critical Hit Chance by 10% |
Tips
Windrose characters have three accessory slots: one ring slot, one necklace slot, and one miscellaneous slot. Only one ring can be worn at a time, so pick the one whose bonus best matches your primary weapon or task.
Jaguar (crit chance) and Cutthroat (crit damage) stack cleanly: raise the chance with one and the damage with the other for a burst-crit build.
When you have access to higher-tier materials, upgrade to the Major Jaguar Ring for a stronger bonus.
Any ring crafted at the Jewelery Table can be broken down at the Disassembly Table, returning a portion of its silver. If you swap to a different ring effect, disassembling the old one recovers some of the materials.
Flavor Text
Such rings were given to ancient warriors who proved their mettle in harsh trials.

Crit Stacking
The Jaguar Ring's +7.5% critical hit chance is a flat probability that stacks additively with every other crit-chance source. On a one-handed melee character that means the ring layers on top of Surgical Cuts (the one-handed crit-chance talent), points invested in the Mastery stat, the Necklace of Mastery, and any partial set bonuses from the Privateer Set that contribute to crit. Because each piece adds to a single pool, the ring's value compounds with every other crit-chance investment in the build.
The threshold to chase is the point where multi-hit chains crit reliably rather than occasionally. A standard one-handed combo lands several light strikes plus a heavy, and pushing the chain's average crit rate high enough turns most full sequences into a guaranteed spike rather than a coin flip. The Jaguar Ring is one of the cleanest single-slot contributions toward that goal, since the accessory ring slot rarely offers a competing damage option for crit-focused builds.
Build Inclusion
The Jaguar Ring slots into the V5 Bone Breaking Brawler loadout alongside the ascended Bonebreaker (which itself rolls +10% crit chance once ascended) and the Privateer Set. Adding the ring on top of those bonuses pushes total crit chance past the breakpoint where a full Bonebreaker swing chain reliably scores at least one crit, which is the source of the build's burst damage.
The ring is a strong general pick for any one-handed melee weapon whose hits can crit. It is not worth a slot for builds whose damage rides primarily on special attacks that cannot crit, such as the Plague Halberd boarding bomber rotation or the Arboris Saber 360-degree slam. On those weapons the ring's chance buff applies only to the basic chain and offers little to the burst windows that define the build.
Compatible Weapons and Builds
Bonebreaker (ascended): the V5 Bone Breaking Brawler build is the headline pairing.
Other one-handed melee weapons whose light and heavy chains crit cleanly benefit from the ring as a baseline crit-chance source.
Crit-chance talents and gear it stacks with: Surgical Cuts, Mastery stat investment, Necklace of Mastery, Privateer Set partial bonuses.
Skip on builds that win through non-crit specials, including the Plague Halberd boarding rotation and the Arboris Saber slam finisher.
