Metagross is a Rare visitor Paradise habitat. It is available during all times of day (Morning, Day, Evening, Night) and in all weather conditions (Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy). Be patient, as Rare visitors take longer to appear.
How to Befriend
Build 's Paradise habitat by placing a Gaming Bed, any Table, a Gaming PC, a Gaming Chair, and a Gaming Fridge near each other. This is one of the more item-intensive habitats, requiring five pieces of gaming-themed furniture. Since Metagross is a Rare visitor, it may take several in-game days before it shows up. Check the habitat regularly and interact with Metagross when it appears to befriend it.
Specialties
Crush
Metagross has the Crush specialty. Pokemon with the Crush specialty can mash materials into different things. This is useful for breaking down raw materials into processed forms needed for crafting recipes.
Recycle
Metagross also has the Recycle specialty. Pokemon with the Recycle specialty can process nonburnable garbage into iron ore. Combined with the Crush specialty, Metagross can handle multiple material processing tasks, making it an excellent choice for a crafting-focused island layout.

Evolution Chain
Metagross is the final stage of a three-stage evolution family. In the main Pokemon seriesBeldum (Dex #245) evolves into Metang (Dex #246) at level 20, and Metang evolves into Metagross at level 45. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so each member must be found at its own habitat independently. Beldum and Metang share the Professor's Apprentice Program habitat (#169), while Metagross requires the more elaborate Gamer's Paradise habitat.
Tips
Paradise habitat requires five gaming-themed items, which can be expensive and hard to find early in the game. Prioritize collecting Gaming furniture if Metagross is a target.
Metagross is one of the few Pokemon with two material-processing specialties (Crush and Recycle). Station it near your crafting area for maximum efficiency.
Since Metagross is Rare at its habitat, consider decorating the surrounding area with its preferred items (metal, exercise equipment, luxury) to keep it happy once befriended.
If you also want Metang and Beldumbuild the Professor's Apprentice Program (#169) nearby. The entire family shares a preference for cool environments and metal objects.
