Overview
Dusknoir is a Ghost-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Gripper Pokemon (Dex #244). It comes and goes between this world and the afterlife. People fear this Pokemon because it is said to suck in lost spirits and take them along. Dusknoir carries two specialties: Gather and Trade, making it one of the more versatile Ghost-type partners for both resource collection and item exchanges.
Habitat
Dusknoir can be found at one habitat.
Trash Site TV (#153)
A lone TV left out with the garbage. It looks like it can still be turned on.
Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Garbage Bags | 2 | Bags of discarded trash |
Television | 1 | Abandoned but functional TV set |
Dusknoir is a Rare visitor at the Trash Site TV habitat. It is available during all times of day and in all weather conditions. This habitat can be placed in any area.
How to Befriend
Build the Trash Site TV habitat by placing two Garbage Bags and one Television near each other. Dusknoir is a Rare visitor, so patience is required. Surround the habitat with spooky decorations and strange objects that match its preferences. Walk up and interact with it when it appears to befriend it.
Specialties
Gather
Dusknoir has the Gather specialty. Pokemon with the Gather specialty can collect resources from the environment, bringing back materials like wood, stone, and other crafting ingredients. Dusknoir's size and strength make it an effective gatherer.
Trade
Dusknoir also has the Trade specialty. Pokemon with this specialty can exchange items with you at a cash register. Place a cash register near Dusknoir's habitat, and it will staff the register to offer item trades.

Evolution Family
Dusknoir is the final stage in a three-stage evolution line. In the main Pokemon series, Duskull evolves into Dusclops at level 37, and Dusclops evolves into Dusknoir when traded while holding a Reaper Cloth. Dusknoir was introduced in Generation 4 as the final evolution, while Duskull and Dusclops originated in Generation 3. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic. Duskull is found at the Pink Tall Grass (#137) habitat, while both Dusclops and Dusknoir share the Trash Site TV (#153) habitat.
Tips
Dusknoir has two specialties (Gather and Trade), giving it more utility than its pre-evolutions Duskull and Dusclops, which only have Gather.
At 7'3" and 235 lbs, Dusknoir is the largest member of its evolution family by a wide margin. It is easy to spot when it visits the Trash Site TV habitat.
Both Dusclops and Dusknoir are Rare at the Trash Site TV habitat. Building more spooky and strange decorations around the habitat can help attract them.
Dusknoir's Trade specialty is unique among Ghost-type Pokemon in Pokopia, making it a valuable companion if you want a spooky-themed shop on your island.
Dusknoir likes group activities, which sets it apart from Dusclops (which prefers soft stuff). Placing group activity furniture nearby may help attract Dusknoir specifically.
