Decidueye

Overview

Decidueye is a Grass/Ghost-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Arrow Quill Pokemon (Dex #187). It cunningly conceals arrow quills in its wings and launches these quills with such precision that they can pierce a pebble at over a hundred yards. Decidueye is the final evolution of the Rowlet family, following Dartrix. It carries the Chop and Grow specialties.

Habitats

Decidueye can be found at two habitats, though it is rare at both locations.

Pointy Tree-shaded Rocky Tall Grass (#100)

Lean against this rock in the tall grass, and take a break while admiring the large pointy tree.

Decidueye appears as a Very Rare visitor at this habitat. It is available during Morning, Day, and Evening in Sunny and Cloudy weather. It does not appear at Night or during Rainy conditions at this habitat. Dartrix (Common) also visits here.

Modern Living (#136)

Stylishly simple. The modern design gives off a sense of classiness.

Decidueye appears as a Rare visitor at this habitat. It is available during Morning, Day, Evening, and Night in Sunny, Cloudy, and Rainy weather. This habitat is exclusive to Decidueye as the sole Pokemon visitor listed.

How to Befriend

Decidueye is challenging to find due to its rarity at both habitats. At the Pointy Tree-shaded Rocky Tall Grass, it is Very Rare, while at Modern Living, it appears as Rare. The Modern Living habitat gives slightly better odds and has broader time and weather availability. Build the Modern Living habitat by placing one Industrial Bed, one Industrial Desk, and one Industrial Chair near each other. Check back regularly and interact with Decidueye when it appears.

Specialties

Chop

The Chop specialty allows Decidueye to process 5 small logs into 1 lumber. This log-to-lumber conversion is a core resource chain for island building, and having Decidueye handle it frees you up for other tasks.

Grow

The Grow specialty makes plants grow faster when Decidueye is stationed nearby. All three members of the Rowlet family share this specialty, so any of them can serve as your farming assistant.

Preferences

Decidueye is drawn to spooky-themed items, which fits its Ghost typing. It also enjoys natural surroundings, wooden objects, and breezy environments. Place letters and word-related items near its habitat for additional comfort. Feed it dry-flavored food for the best reaction.

Related Pokemon

Decidueye is the final stage of the Rowlet (Dex #185) family. It evolves from Dartrix (Dex #186) in the main Pokemon series at Level 34. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so each member must be found independently. Decidueye and Dartrix share the Pointy Tree-shaded Rocky Tall Grass habitat, while Rowlet has its own habitat at the Fresh Veggie Field in Palette Town.

Tips

• The Modern Living habitat is your best bet for finding Decidueye. It appears as Rare there (better than Very Rare at the other habitat) and is available in all weather and time conditions.

• Decidueye has the same Chop and Grow specialties as Dartrix. If you just need those specialties and don't want to wait for a rare spawn, Dartrix is much easier to find as a Common visitor.

• Decidueye's affinity for spooky stuff makes it a good neighbor for other Ghost-type Pokemon on your island. Clustering spooky decorations benefits all of them.

• Building both the Pointy Tree-shaded Rocky Tall Grass and Modern Living habitats gives you two chances to encounter Decidueye. Keep both active and check them regularly.
