Overview
Armarouge is a Fire/Psychic-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Fire Warrior Pokemon (Dex #201). Armarouge evolved through the use of a set of armor that belonged to a distinguished warrior, and this Pokemon is incredibly loyal. It is one of two evolutions of Charcadet, the other being Ceruledge. Armarouge carries two specialties: Trade and Burn, making it both a merchant and a fire-starter for your island.
Habitat: Auspicious Knight's Shrine (#192)
Armarouge can be found at the Auspicious Knight's Shrine habitat. The description reads: "A slightly mystical space where a mysterious ritual appears to be underway..."

How to Befriend
Build the Auspicious Knight's Shrine by gathering a Pedestal, Auspicious Armor, 2 Stepping Stones, and 2 Firepits. The Auspicious Armor is a key material that may require specific quests or exploration to obtain. Since Armarouge is a Rare visitor, be patient and check the habitat regularly during Morning, Day, and Evening hours.
Specialties
Armarouge has two specialties:
Trade: Pokemon with this specialty will barter exchanges at places where trading is possible, such as cash registers. This helps you acquire needed items through trading.
Burn: Pokemon with this specialty can ignite nearby flammable objects, such as campfires and furnaces. This is useful for cooking and crafting tasks that require fire.

Related Pokemon
Armarouge evolves from Charcadet (Dex #200) in the main Pokemon series using an Auspicious Armor. Its counterpart is Ceruledge (Dex #202), which evolves from Charcadet using a Malicious Armor instead. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so all three must be found at their own habitats independently. Ceruledge appears at the Malicious Knight's Shrine (#191) and shares the Trade and Burn specialties with Armarouge.
Auspicious Knight's Shrine vs. Malicious Knight's Shrine
The shrines for Armarouge and Ceruledge follow the same basic layout but use different key items. The Auspicious Knight's Shrine requires Auspicious Armor, while the Malicious Knight's Shrine requires Malicious Armor. Both use Pedestals, Stepping Stones, and Firepits. Building both shrines lets you collect the complete Charcadet family. Ceruledge's shrine description reads: "A slightly eerie space where a mysterious ritual appears to be underway..."
Tips
Armarouge is a Rare spawn, so do not expect it to appear immediately. Check the Auspicious Knight's Shrine during daytime hours for the best chance.
The dual Trade and Burn specialties make Armarouge one of the more useful Fire-type Pokemon. It can handle trading at shops while also keeping fires lit.
Building both the Auspicious and Malicious Knight's Shrines lets you collect Charcadet, Armarouge, and Ceruledge for a complete Fire Warrior collection.
Armarouge's warrior aesthetic pairs well with stone and exercise decorations. Create a training-ground themed area on your island to complement its shrine.
Spicy dishes from Chef Dente's kitchen make ideal gifts for raising Armarouge's friendship level.
