Version 1.3, titled "Rising from the Moonlit Fog", is the third major post-launch update for Neverness to Everness. It went live on August 19, 2026, after a maintenance window that ran from 06:00 to 11:00 (UTC+8). The update headlines the debut of the limited S-Class Esper Zankou, opens the coastal Duskmoor region, and adds a run of summer activities that stay open through the end of September.
This was a large download. The patch closed out "The Lifeline" Limited Board on August 19 at 05:59 (UTC+8) and briefly took Pink Paws Heist offline from 05:30 until maintenance wrapped.
Maintenance and Compensation

|---|---|

New Characters and Arcs
Version 1.3 splits its gacha rotation into two phases. The first runs alongside the update itself; full board rules, pity behaviour and reward milestones live on the Version 1.3 Banners page.
Feature | Class | Board | Signature Arc | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|---|
S-Class Incantation | "Alluring Shadows" (debut) | Aug 19 to Sep 9, 05:59 (UTC+8) | ||
S-Class Plasma | "The Ichi-daime" (rerun) | Aug 19 to Sep 9, 05:59 (UTC+8) |
Both boards also carry the A-Class trio Mint, Edgar and Adler. Both Arcs are limited and are obtainable only through their matching Arc Research Program, "Spellbound Special" for Ravenous Blade and "Tiger Special" for Ready-Ready. Each requires the same unlock: clear the main story quest "Prologue - A New Destination - Head to Eibon Antique Shop".
New Story Content
Fogden Game
The new main story episode is Fogden Game, unlocked after finishing the earlier episode "Fighting with a Dragon". The official teaser frames it as a reckoning with The Scarlet Letter: "Those left off the guest list have formed an alliance: to save, to judge, to avenge." The episode asks whether Madam T can finally be brought down for good.
Home Time
A new Invitation mode called "Home Time" arrives with the update, built around Zankou. It unlocks once you own her and reach the required Bond Level. Version 1.3 also adds Bond quests, new Bond interactions (including a passenger-seat ride-along) and a dedicated combat tutorial for her.
Duskmoor and New Properties
The headline location is Duskmoor, a stretch of open natural scenery that houses the Starfall Bay Resort and the open water of Tearlake. Six new Anomaly Commissions were added there: Twin Blooms, Lantern Parade, Storybook Skirmish, Finale: Da Capo, Fawn Alone, and Sunken Door.
Addition | Type | Cost | Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
Property | Fons x6,900,000 | City Tycoon Lvl 13 | |
Vehicle | Fons x4,000,000 | Purchase at the TerraX dealership | |
Watercraft | "Lucent Tides" Mystery Box | Summonable in ocean and lake areas |
Crops grown at Stillmeadow House can be sold for Fons by spending City Stamina, which makes it the first property tied directly to the farming loop.
Limited-Time Events
Most of the Version 1.3 event slate opened with the update and runs until September 30, 05:59 (UTC+8).
Event | Duration | What It Involves |
|---|---|---|
Aug 19 to Sep 30 | Beach volleyball matches for the "Summer Glow" avatar frame, the "Imaginist Court" namecard, Annulith, Fabricated Dice and Chaotic Dye | |
Aug 19 to Sep 30 | Course challenges on the water for Annulith, Fons, Floe Cinema Tickets and Elite Hunter Guides | |
Aug 19 to Sep 30 | New challenge stages against Mammon and Morphix, awarding the "Hunter's Crucible - Steel Tempered" title with effects that upgrade as points accumulate | |
Aug 28 to Sep 30 | Collect the "Drifting Bottle" currency and trade it at the event shop for the "Full Haul" avatar frame and the "Treasure Hunt" namecard | |
"Circle Gifts" Login Event | Aug 19 to Sep 30 | Log in on 7 total days for Solid Dice x10 |
"Lucent Tides" Mystery Box | Aug 19, 17:00 to Sep 30 | 15 escalating boxes containing the Tide watercraft and limited outfits for Nanally, Mint and Esper Zero |
"Stamina Recharge" | Aug 24 to Aug 31 (server time) | City Stamina spends at 2x efficiency in Hethereau Hobbies activities |
"Gold Clash" | Aug 31 to Sep 14 (server time) | Fons earned at 2x efficiency in Pink Paws Heist |
The Hunter's Crucible framing sums up the tone of the whole slate: "Steel is forged in fire. Hunters are forged by worthier prey."
New Modes and Activities
Gauntlet of Valor: a new mode added to 999 Nights, accessed from the Warren Continent. See Gauntlet of Valor for the full breakdown.
Volley Star: also joins the Hethereau Hobbies roster as a permanent activity alongside its event version.
Going, Going, Gone!: added as a Hethereau Hobbies activity and simultaneously overhauled. See Going, Going, Gone! for details.
Shadow-n-Seek: a new Hethereau Hobbies activity. Each round costs City Stamina.
Races: four new Challenge routes (Night Raptor, Chapter Nova, First Sense, Silver Crown) plus multiple new Online racetracks.
The "Going, Going, Gone!" rework added seasonal Profit and Wealth leaderboards with matching quests, a venue conditions mechanic, an in-match quick chat system, 20 new collectibles, and a revised spawn algorithm that slightly raised the "Eternal Heart" rate.
Economy Adjustments
The 1,000,000 Fons reward pool that Pink Paws Heist paid out each cycle was renamed the "Tycoon Incentive Fund". Earnings from the Weekly Match mode in Volley Star, and passive income from Collectibles Warehouse display cases in Going, Going, Gone!, now draw from that same allowance.
New scratchers arrived at "The Midnight" Catzebo, and Fons won from them no longer counts toward Tycoon Level or the Pawbes Rich List. Five older scratchers ("Beyond the Screen", "Hethereau Daily", "What Do Cats Dream Of?", "The Art of Ramen", and "Beyond the Book") were pulled from sale. City Tycoon Lvl 16 also got a buff: City Stamina consumption speed rose from 100% to 200%.
Circle Bounty
The Version 1.3 Circle Bounty guide ran from the update until September 29, 23:59 (UTC+8) and required the main quest "Relax Time". Circle Quests award experience toward Bounty Rank, paying out Fabricated Dice, Gold Carrota, De-noise Solution, A Handwritten Letter, and Expansion Cores. Elite Hunter Supplies unlock an extra track worth Annulith x680 and Fons x700,000, while Honor Hunter Supplies add the "de Xiaozhen" avatar, the "Bountiful Garden" frame and the "Splash Showdown" namecard on top.
Quality of Life and Fixes
An Outfit Rotation toggle equips a random owned outfit each time you log in or change scenes.
Photo Mode now works while driving or swimming, and PC players can hide the UI with F7.
City Delivery gained Auto-Drive support, and both Swift Cab and City Delivery added orders for the new locations.
Upgrade flows for Characters, Arcs, Consoles and Modules were streamlined, with better guidance when Ascension materials are short.
A "Claim All" button now collects daily Anomaly Furniture rewards across every property at once.
Bronze Carrota and Silver Carrota can be crafted into higher tiers, and "The Witch's House" level cap rose to 15.
Fixes landed for Shinku (wall climbing, Instant Strike multi-target damage, stamina drain), Jiuyuan (leave-battlefield animations) and Hotori ("Defiant Spirit" not granted when spending "Menacing Gaze" stacks).
999 Nights raised its bulk gear recycling cap to 50 and picked up assorted quality-of-life changes.
An aim assist toggle was added under Settings - Control, and character rendering was improved across the board.

Looking Ahead
The Version 1.3 broadcast closed by naming the next update, Version 1.4, under the title Puka Land. Nothing from it has shipped, no release date has been given, and no patch notes exist for it yet, so treat the name as an announced teaser rather than a content list.
For earlier updates, see Version 1.0 Update and the running Patch Notes summary. Banner histories are split across Version 1.0 Banners, Version 1.1 Banners, Version 1.2 Banners and Version 1.3 Banners.
