Mint is an A-Class Anima character and a rising star in the Bureau of Anomaly Control's Containment Unit 2. She is an energetic young fighter who charges into battle with dual blades and a fearless attitude. Her combat style emphasizes speed and area-of-effect damage, with her signature tornado transformation ability letting her carve through groups of enemies in seconds.

As an A-Class character, Mint is accessible early and relatively easy to upgrade. She fills the role of an AoE damage dealer for players who have not yet obtained stronger S-Class alternatives. While she is outclassed by Nanally in most competitive scenarios, Mint holds her own in story content and general exploration, where her fast clear speed for groups of enemies is genuinely useful.

Mint is defined by her boundless energy. She approaches everything in life with the same intensity she brings to combat, whether it is Bureau assignments, hanging out with colleagues, or chasing down anomalies. Combat Kit

Mint wields dual blades with rapid multi-hit attack chains. Her normal attack combo delivers a flurry of quick slashes that hit enemies in a small arc in front of her. The attack speed is notably fast, generating multiple hits in a short window. Each hit applies Anima damage, and the rapid hits make her effective at triggering elemental reactions due to the sheer frequency of her elemental application.

Her primary skill transforms her into a spinning tornado that moves across the battlefield, dealing continuous Anima damage to all enemies caught in its path. The tornado lasts several seconds and covers a large area, making it ideal for grouping scenarios where enemies are clustered together. Players can steer the tornado's movement during the transformation to maximize enemy coverage.

Mint's Ultimate is a large AoE burst that deals heavy Anima damage in a wide radius around her. The burst hits all enemies in range simultaneously, making it one of the faster wave-clearing abilities available at the A-Class tier. After the burst, Mint returns to her normal form with a brief cooldown before her next skill rotation.

Mint's combat identity revolves around being a fast-paced melee DPS with strong AoE capabilities. Her dual blades allow for rapid multi-hit combos that shred through groups of weaker enemies in seconds. The tornado transformation is her signature ability, turning her entire body into a spinning vortex that moves across the battlefield dealing continuous Anima damage to everything in its path.

The tornado attack is particularly effective in content with dense enemy packs. Mint can activate it in the center of a group and let the spinning motion carry her through multiple enemies, applying Anima damage to each one she passes through. Combined with her AoE Ultimate burst, Mint can clear an entire room of enemies faster than most characters in the game.

Her melee-focused playstyle does require her to be in close range at all times, which makes her vulnerable to enemy attacks. However, the speed at which she attacks means most enemies are staggered or defeated before they can retaliate, especially in lower-difficulty content.

Team Synergy

As an Anima character, Mint works in reaction lanes with Cosmos characters (triggering Blossom) and Incantation characters (triggering Hexed). Adler is a natural Incantation partner who provides shields to protect Mint while she uses her tornado form. The Hexed reaction from their pairing debuffs enemies and increases the damage they take.

However, in most team compositions, Nanally fills the Anima DPS slot more effectively. Nanally's automatic follow-up attacks, superior scaling, and stronger single-target damage make her the preferred choice for challenging content. Mint is best used by players who have not yet obtained Nanally or who need a secondary Anima DPS for specific team setups.

Mint's strong AoE damage makes her an excellent pairing with characters who group enemies together. If a teammate can pull or crowd-control enemies into a tight cluster, Mint's tornado attack and Ultimate can hit all of them simultaneously, maximizing her damage efficiency. Hotori's time-freeze ultimate is an ideal setup for this, as frozen enemies cannot scatter while Mint tears through them.

Best Use Cases

Mint performs at her best in story content, daily exploration, and general overworld combat where her AoE damage clears groups efficiently. For these activities, her fast clearing speed and low investment requirements make her a practical choice. She is also useful in co-op content where equalized stats reduce the gap between A-Class and S-Class characters.

For harder boss encounters, anomaly dungeons, and competitive endgame content, Mint struggles to keep up with specialized damage dealers. In these scenarios, consider replacing her with a character whose kit is better suited to the encounter's demands.

Tips

• Use Mint for early-game content and switch to Nanally or another S-Class DPS once available for tougher challenges.
