Overview
The Patch Notes hub indexes every version update for Neverness to Everness. Each major version brings new playable Espers, banner phases, world content, balance changes, quality-of-life updates, and bug fixes. This page links the per-version detail articles, summarizes what each patch is named after, and tracks the cadence of follow-up hotfixes within a patch cycle.

Major versions ship roughly every six weeks, with mid-cycle hotfixes between major releases. Each version follows a two-phase banner structure that mirrors the cadence of other live-service games in the genre. Patch downtime, regional rollout times, and known issues are tracked in the Launch FAQ once a maintenance window is announced.

Day 9 Client Update (May 7, 2026)
On May 7, 2026 the developer announced that two in-game assets would be reworked: the "Clear Skies in Summer" poster and the Pink Paws Heist mission cinematic. The accompanying statement said AI-assisted tools were used on a small number of background and environmental assets and not on character or story content. The asset replacement deploys with a future client update; a Letter from Hethereau in-game mail bearing 10 Fabricated Dice will reach every active v1.0 account after the May 13 maintenance.
Upcoming Versions
Version 1.3 "Rising from the Moonlit Fog" was previewed in a Special Program on August 8, 2026 at 19:30 (UTC+8) and shipped on August 19, 2026. It is documented in the released-versions list above and in the Version 1.3 Update article. Version 1.4 is the next update in the pipeline, and the only thing flagged for it so far is Pukaland, an amusement park in the southern part of the New Herland District said to open with that version and to bring new game modes and Anomaly Commissions. That is a secondary report rather than a published patch note: no release date, version title, character line-up, or content list has been announced for Version 1.4, and nothing from it has shipped. Roadmap previews are shared through the official broadcast schedule and consolidated on the Launch Roadmap article.
How Patches Roll Out
Major version updates follow a consistent rollout pattern.
Pre-patch broadcast: a livestream previews characters, events, and balance changes roughly one week before the patch deploys.
Pre-patch maintenance: services are taken offline for 2-4 hours to deploy the new client. Players are notified through the in-game popup and the official channels.
Patch goes live: the client applies a download, accounts log in to the mailbox bonuses, and the new banners begin.
Mid-cycle hotfixes: targeted bug fixes deploy without full downtime. They are announced through the news feed and only require a client restart in most cases.
Phase 2 transition: roughly two weeks into the patch cycle, the second banner phase swaps in. No client download is needed.
Patch closes: the cycle ends with a final balance pass and an early-access broadcast for the next version.
What Each Patch Touches
Major versions typically include changes across multiple systems. The categories below show what to expect in a typical patch.
Category | Common Changes |
|---|---|
New playable characters, story chapters, side stories, kit balance. | |
Banners | New limited featured S-Class, returning rerun, weapon banner adjustments. |
World | New regions, anomaly events, exploration chests, fast-travel additions. |
Endgame | New Anomaly Pilgrimage rotations, Anomaly Dungeon waves, time-limited bosses. |
Quality of Life | Inventory tweaks, UI adjustments, controller mapping, accessibility. |
Combat balance | Skill cooldown tuning, damage modifiers, resistance updates. |
Bug fixes | Crash fixes, mission flow corrections, animation bugs. |
Cosmetics | New outfits, gliders, vehicle liveries, profile frames. |
Following Patch Releases
Official broadcasts: each patch gets a pre-release livestream that doubles as the launch trailer for the version's headline characters.
In-game news feed: opens automatically on first login after a maintenance window. Includes patch notes, reward bundles, and hotfix changelogs.
Discord and X announcements: shorter summaries plus the redemption codes that drop alongside each patch.
Wiki version pages: each released version has its own detail page on this wiki linked above. They are updated as datamining and player testing surface specifics.
Hotfixes and Mid-Cycle Updates
Between major versions, smaller updates address urgent issues. The May 1 Hotfix above is documented in this hub because it landed in the launch window. Subsequent hotfixes within a patch cycle are listed inline on each version's detail page rather than as standalone wiki articles unless they introduce new content.
Mainland China Patch Cadence
The Mainland China client (CN vs Global Launch) runs on a separate patch schedule with its own version numbers, banner pairings, and launch dates. Content reaches Mainland China six days before global release on a typical major version, although mid-cycle hotfixes tend to land at similar times on both clients.
May 7, 2026 Xun Banner (CN client only): the Mainland China client added a Xun (浔) limited banner titled "独酌胧月流" on May 7, 2026. This banner is scoped to the CN server and does not affect the global client's banner timeline. Global players are still on the Phase 1 The Ichi-Daime banner through May 13, 2026, followed by the Phase 2 Misty Tipsy Style (Hotori) banner from May 13 through June 3, 2026. CN-side banner schedules do not translate to a global release; Xun has not been announced for the global client.
Version 1.0 Phase 2. May 13, 2026
The Version 1.0 Phase 2 patch went live after a maintenance window from 06:00 to 11:00 AM (UTC+8) on May 13, 2026. Pink Paws Heist access closed 30 minutes before maintenance and reopened with the post-update build. All eligible players received Annulith x300 in their in-game mail as maintenance compensation, alongside an additional 10 standard pulls.
New Limited Boards
Misty Tipsy Style featuring Hotori (S-Class Cosmos) launched and runs through June 3, 2026 at 05:59 AM (UTC+8). A-Class boost roster: Haniel, Aurelia, Skia.
Marching Beyond Time S-Class Arc is now obtainable through the Arc Research Program through June 3, 2026 at 05:59 AM (UTC+8).
New Events

Whisker Patrol runs May 27 at 12:00 PM through June 3, 2026 at 04:59 AM (UTC+8) with Annulith and resource rewards.
Hourglass Perks runs alongside the Hotori window with outfit rewards.
System Changes
Pink Paws Heist: at match start, 6 extraction points now activate at random and remain open throughout the match. They no longer close as the match progresses, giving players consistent extraction options for the full duration.
Owner's Selection difficulty values were reduced to bring the stage in line with average completion times.
Hotori bond content added: Bond interactions, City Hangouts, text message conversations, and Battle Tutorial.
Multiplayer: a Recommended Players list was added to the party finder.
Photo Mode: added a borderless frame option.

Perks progress is tracked per board name and does not transfer between differently named boards. Full board mechanics are covered on the Gacha System page and the phase-by-phase schedule on Version 1.3 Banners.
New Story, Location, and Modes
The main story picks up with the episode Fogden Game, unlocked by clearing the Version 1.2 episode "Fighting with a Dragon". The patch notes frame it around The Scarlet Letter setting up another game and an alliance of those left off the guest list forming to save, to judge, and to avenge, with Madam T as the target. "Home Time", a new Invitation mode built around Zankou, unlocks once you own her and reach the required Bond Level.
The new location is Duskmoor, described in the patch notes as sweeping natural scenery holding the Starfall Bay Resort and the open waters of Tearlake. Six Anomaly Commissions opened with it: Twin Blooms, Lantern Parade, Storybook Skirmish, Finale: Da Capo, Fawn Alone, and Sunken Door.

Version 1.3 Optimizations
New routes were added to Races - Challenge: Night Raptor, Chapter Nova, First Sense, and Silver Crown, and new racetracks were added to Races - Online.
New scratchers went on sale at The Midnight Catzebo. Fons won from the new scratchers no longer counts toward Tycoon Level or the Pawbes Rich List, and five older scratchers were pulled from sale.
The "Tycoon Incentive Fund" replaced the per-cycle 1,000,000 Fons reward pool that Pink Paws Heist used to pay out. Weekly Match earnings in Volley Star and passive income from Collectibles Warehouse display cases in "Going, Going, Gone!" now draw from the same allowance.
An Outfit Rotation toggle equips a random owned outfit from the active character's wardrobe on each login or scene change.
Zankou received Bond quests, a combat tutorial, and Bond interactions that unlock her passenger seat ride-along at the required Bond Level.
"The Witch's House" level cap rose to 15, and Bronze Carrota and Silver Carrota can now be crafted into higher-tier Carrota.
Farm produce can be sold by spending City Stamina, using crops grown at Stillmeadow House, and the City Tycoon Lvl 16 perk now consumes City Stamina at 200% speed rather than 100%.
Selected items became discardable from a new button in the bottom-left of the Inventory screen, covering Manhole Boss, Paradoxical Whispers, Chaos Silhouette, Distorted Numeral, and Transcendent Delusions.
Upgrade flows for Characters, Arcs, Consoles, and Modules were streamlined, and the Anomaly Furniture Effects screen gained a Claim All button that collects daily rewards across every property at once.
Photo Mode can now be used while driving or swimming, and PC players gained an F7 shortcut that hides the in-game UI in one press.

Version 1.3 Bug Fixes
Shinku can now interact while in "Surging Crimson" or the hold-dodge special movement state, which instantly ends her transformed state, and her wall-climbing animations no longer play incorrectly from that state.
Fixed Shinku's "Instant Strike" dropping damage against multiple targets while "Snowfall Slope" was active, and fixed abnormal stamina drain when entering the hold-dodge state.
Fixed Hotori failing to gain "Defiant Spirit" when spending stacks of "Menacing Gaze" while recording and replaying Shinku's skills.
Fixed Jiuyuan's animations playing incorrectly when leaving the battlefield after being hit.
Fixed recolored outfits not displaying correctly on passenger-seat companions and on characters hired at The Cafe by Origen.
Fixed a Bagel notification settings error where pressing Show My Collection broke the display of other settings, and added tag categories for Bagel posts.
Fixed vehicle controls that could not be rebound on some mobile devices, and a controller-mode issue where the Term Notes screen for Esper Abilities would not scroll.
Fixed crashes in specific situations, improved localization across several languages, and cleared other known issues.
