Comprehensive update with full version timeline from v0.1.0 through v0.7.0
inZOI entered Early Access on March 28, 2025 as a Steam exclusive. Developed by inZOI Studio and published by KRAFTON, the game is built on Unreal Engine 5 and positions itself as a next-generation life simulation. Since launch, the development team has shipped major content updates roughly every six to eight weeks, with smaller hotfixes in between. Director Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim communicates upcoming plans through regular developer updates and the official 2026 Roadmap.
As of April 2026, the game is on version 0.7.x. Each major version introduces a headline feature, whether that is a new world, a business system, or a seasonal event, alongside dozens of smaller additions and quality-of-life improvements. Since Early Access launch, the team has maintained a predictable release rhythm. Major versions (0.x.0) arrive every six to eight weeks and typically center on a single headline system or world. Smaller hotfix patches (0.x.1 through 0.x.4) land between majors, addressing bugs and occasionally slipping in minor features. Director Kjun and the community team post developer letters before each major release, outlining goals and soliciting feedback through the official Discord server and Steam forums.
The 2026 Roadmap outlines the remaining milestones before the planned 1.0 launch. Players can track upcoming features and vote on priorities through the official feedback channels.
