Revision 1

Follow Dietrich from Fina to the Mars exhibition, with chapter travel budgets, missable Fabio scenes, Combat Art unlocks and battle tactics. Finish dated requests before their own deadlines and leave enough Free Time for travel. Character profiles give route-specific recruitment conditions.

Chapter 1: A Stranger Comes to Dagda

Choose the Lion Obelisk, follow the shore to Raptor’s Throat and help Fabio. He becomes the first permanent ally. Eshmel grants Divine Sand after the opening fight.

Fabio can weaken the Gladiator with Miasma from range, allowing Dietrich to finish and block the forest approach. Let the enemies on the right advance through the thickets. Clear them before moving south to Tarek, and keep both playable units alive.

Battle vs. Bandits

Chapter 2: Sacrifice and Strife

Explore Fina, find Esmeralda tied to the post and speak to Fabio. Advance the conversations to the next morning, then rescue her at Fina Reef. Defeating Redears yields Sinza Trident. The later clash with the townspeople introduces Link attacks; Esmeralda joins permanently.

Have Esmeralda use Tempest Spear against the northern enemies while Fabio and Dietrich work through the other side. Meet in the center. Esmeralda can Talk to an ally without spending her attack. Focus Redears before it summons more beasts, then use Fabio’s remaining action to heal.

Battle vs. Sea Beasts

Chapter 3: The Grand Megalith

Leave Fina and take Fabio’s detour through Wodan Pass. The first dungeon supplies loot, experience and opportunities to build Support before the megalith encounter.

Four guardians begin the battle. Anatolia and her companions arrive on turn 2, changing the objective from clearing every enemy to defeating Anatolia. Saint Katarina strengthens the original guardians, while the new arrivals do not receive that protection. Remove Anatolia’s escorts before drawing her in. Fabio’s Resistance helps bait magic; Dietrich and Esmeralda can then concentrate damage.

Battle vs. Saint Katarina

Chapter 4: Brute Force

Win the solo tavern clash with Majide to receive Ink-Black Wen and Moving Shadow. Mikaela joins, and giving her token to Yang Jie recruits him. The chapter then offers 56 Free Time turns.

Use Answerer’s Cry to find encounters that drop Magic Echo Shards. Following the large cat opens Smyrnos Temple, Divine Services and Dietrich’s temple improvements for Combat Arts. Inns, shops, Support conversations and Pale Raven activities also become available. The Blacksmith is still closed, so replace exhausted weapons through shops. The Raksha encounter opens Unyielding.

In the Thundercloud Knights battle, split mixed physical and magical attackers north and east. Avoid the purple chariot lanes and topple Brittle Pillars to obstruct them. Adjacent attacks handle ranged charioteers, while magic handles armor. The southeast chest contains Zanbato; defeat a looter if it steals the chest first. Benditz restores HP once, and Cai and Anatolia must survive alongside Dietrich.

Qualifier - Thundercloud Knights

Chapter 5: The Essence of a Warrior

The interrupted spar with Mars leads into Arena and certification tutorials. Train, take the free Gladiator certification in Hightown and finish the first Dread Warrior Challenge. There are then 76 Free Time turns and five purchasable Beginner Licenses. Borges and Aguirre provide additional Combat Arts.

Speak to Fabio as soon as Free Time begins, then follow him into the alleys west of the City Inn for a missable scene. Consider Diviner for Fabio and Ornius Rider for Esmeralda. Io needs Support 2 and Renown 3 and arrives as a level-20 cavalry unit useful for the trial.

Reserve at least five overworld turns for the trip from Mars Branch Temple to Midnight Turn. In Hannibal’s trial, activate all levers within 10 battle turns. Send Dietrich and Fabio east, using Moving Shadow for access and healing its HP cost. Io and Esmeralda can cover the busier west while Yang Jie holds the center against armor.

The levers stun the Elephant Riders for one turn. Defeat both during that opening to disable Hannibal. The next phase removes the lever timer and asks only for Hannibal’s defeat. Io can receive his western charge while the other allies converge.

Hannibal's Trial

Chapter 6: Instinct and Reason

Use the 96 turns for the new Vandahl, Search and Blacksmith tutorials. Sinza Trident can use Smithing Stones, while Answerer’s repair material is not yet available. Specialty Licenses open, making level-20 Io ready for promotion. Kiroc’s Support-1 and Renown-4 requirements offer another practical recruit; check his profile for the route’s Pure Water payment.

Divide the Silver Knights battlefield between two groups, with a healer on each side and Leda protected in the center. Use her songs before advancing, then restore their HP cost. Theodora can cover the west and Dietrich the east.

Three priests protect Alexandra. She starts advancing after two fall and loses the barrier after the third. Each priest’s death also forces Theodora to Burst, lowering her maximum HP for the battle. Withdraw her from the front as necessary. Alexandra dismounts and calls reinforcements after her first HP bar; finish before the extra enemies overwhelm the army.

Qualifier - Silver Knights of Tellus

Chapter 7: Gazing at the Rose Moon

The 64-turn chapter introduces Teach Secrets at Smyrnos Temple and provides 50 Magic Echo Shards for the tutorial. Use Answerer’s Cry while traveling to gather more. Nydine and Ultand become recruitment options at Renown 5 once their personal conditions are ready.

Check requests in both halves of the month. A Sword of Deadly Renown is an early opportunity, while Sonai Pass may block A Challenge at insufficient Renown. Leave enough turns to travel rather than accepting distant objectives at the deadline.

Against Nathan and Creek, keep the obstacles intact to slow the advance until elephants destroy them. Breaking the bell tower confuses the elephants for three turns. They favor red enemies but can attack allies if none are reachable, then return to the enemy side. Bring magic against the armored formations, heal Talimun after his costly Blaze debuffs and use Moving Shadow to draw cavalry south. Orchel and Talimun can then help finish both bosses.

Qualifier - Twin Jewels of Arago

Chapter 8: Cetus, the Sea Tyrant

The chapter provides 120 turns, followed by a separate 40-turn sea search. Buy beast-effective bows at Yaaman or Ribeira, promote level-20 allies and consider Hidden Giantsbane for giant protection. Il-Lara’s Renown-6 challenge opens Guardian and Hidden Windpierce.

Sail around whirlpools, following Answerer’s Cry toward the Sea of Screams, then head west to Cetus. Choose Nod in the closing Fabio conversation for Support.

Spread mobile units among the ship sections to operate the single-use traps that stun Cetus. Avoid its purple landing tiles; summoned Vouivre also suffer from them and can be lured there. Each yellow barrier tile takes two hits. Break barriers while Cetus is stunned, since moving to an untrapped area can restore them.

Io or Nydine can reach the remote sections while Kiroc handles flying Vouivre. Keep Dietrich able to return to the main hull with Moving Shadow and concentrate attacks when Cetus returns. Victory awards Grasitha, which requires Spear B. Its Leave No Dust Combat Art is restricted to Esmeralda.

Battle vs. the Sea Tyrant

Chapter 9: The Legend of the White Egg

The chapter’s allowance table lists 160 turns. Theater and several missable paralogues open. Simon, Mu, Ursula and Benditz become options at Renown 7, subject to their other conditions. Prepare flier or Ornius movement for the desert; ordinary cavalry should dismount in sand.

Finish Leda’s paralogue by September 8 and Theodora’s by September 15. Bertrand’s special opportunity is September 17; Talimun has a September 19 deadline and another opportunity beginning October 1. Visit Fezzan Gate before September 17 to spend its extra arrival turn early. The Kunlun trip normally needs at least 10 turns; the tighter post-Bertrand schedule relies on that earlier gate visit.

At Kunlun, eliminate the shamans to the north, midwest and mideast to stop reinforcements. Use a flier to scout around the central building, and reveal the boss area when the army is ready to attack. Break the light-green boulders obstructing Zenon and converge on him rather than leaving isolated units in the sandstorm.

Battle at Kunlun

Chapter 10: The Mediator of Nuwa

Only 20 turns are available. Speak to Fabio for the next secret scene if the Chapter 5 event was completed. Renown 8 opens Thermae at 500 Gold per pair and Theater acting; watching and acting share one weekly use. Level-35 allies can prepare Advanced certifications.

Complete Anna’s Golden Secret before October 5 to open the Summit shop. This chapter supplies just two Cullet, allowing selected repairs while Answerer still needs more.

Send mounted units toward the upper-left and lower-right switches before Anatolia activates Titanus at full strength. Keep the main army south to clear escorts. She later forces magical weapons such as Nezha’s Levin Sword, so prepare a high-Resistance front line. Moving Shadow helps Dietrich reach her in the north. After the first HP reserve, she retreats and adds reinforcements, including an active Titanus; maintain pressure without leaving allies unsupported.

Battle vs. Anatolia

Chapter 11: Twisted Love

The chapter allowance table lists 116 turns. Level-35 promotions and strong physical defense help against Bertrand. Recruiting Dante, Jester and Goliath first removes them from his enemy lineup. Gaitz becomes available after this chapter and needs Bertrand’s paralogue.

Finish Talimun’s paralogue by October 12, start Cai’s by October 22 and finish Orchel’s by October 27. Kalla’s level-3 Blessing helps reach Bertrand, while Jurah and Aurora provide defensive alternatives.

Traps cover much of the battlefield and deal about 8 HP on contact. Keep ground units safe in the south while a flier approaches Bertrand to disable the traps; Dietrich’s Blaze movement provides another route. Support the advance with Physic, then move the army after the traps switch off. If Bertrand uses Storm Awakening, clear his allies while its Avoid boost expires before committing Dietrich to the duel.

Battle vs. Betrand

Chapter 12: Mars, Bringer of War

Speak to Fabio immediately for the missable scene that enables Answerer Arisen before Mars and repairs a broken Answerer. The upgrade raises Might from 9 to 15 and grants Bloodletting+. Use the final 92 turns for remaining challenges, Part-I-only Support scenes and recruitment for the larger War Arc army.

Bring magic and bows to operate the artillery. Split the nine-unit army between the sides: durable armor helps on the bow side to the right, while fliers or high-Resistance units handle magic on the left. Artillery can clear the center and its obstacles. A flier can remove central priests; use the green tiles for recovery.

Hold the three chokepoints with defenders and heal behind them, since Mars lacks ranged attacks. In the second phase, Dietrich duels Mars while allies return to the sides. Clear those surrounding enemies and redistribute healing. Interfering with the duel summons more opposition, so leave Dietrich to finish it.
