Uninvited Guest is the first quest arc of Chapter 5: Guest Unbidden in Crimson Desert. It takes place entirely in the Hernand region and consists of four quests that introduce the Demeniss delegation's arrival and its consequences. The arc begins with a brief cutscene and escalates into a dramatic boss encounter against Kearush, the Slayer before concluding with the revelation that Demeniss has been secretly supplying the Black Bears.
Chapter 5 marks a turning point in the main story. Marquis Serkis announces the arrival of a Demenissian delegation and extends a banquet invitation to the Greymanes. This news is especially dangerous for Damiane, a Demenissian in hiding whose swordmaster disappeared during a dark conspiracy. The political tension between Hernand and Demeniss sets the stage for the events that follow.

The standout encounter of this arc takes place during the Demenissian Delegation quest. A monster brought by the delegation to flaunt Demeniss's military might breaks free during the banquet, turning the hall into a scene of carnage. Kearush is a giant gorilla-like creature with three health bars and is considered one of the more challenging fights in the early game. Dodge forward and to the right to position behind it, land three quick strikes, then prepare for the next dodge. Blocking and parrying are ineffective against this enemy.

Stock up on 100+ grilled meat before the Kearush fight. His attacks hit hard and recovery items are essential.
The horse taming in Unwelcomed Guests has a hidden timer before the horse bucks you off, but you can retry as many times as needed.
Double-Sided Invitation and Exposed Plot are purely narrative quests with no combat. Use these moments to restock and upgrade gear.
After Exposed Plot, the story transitions directly into the Black and White arc.
