Overview
The Thalwynd Warhammer is a two-handed weapon in Crimson Desert designed for heavy melee combat. It takes its name from the Thalwynd region and carries 16 base attack power with no secondary stat bonuses. This makes it a pure damage warhammer that rewards straightforward, aggressive play. The weapon is restricted to Oongka and sits alongside the Bonepit Warhammer as one of two 16-attack warhammers available through crafting.

Thalwynd equipment in general reflects a sturdy, no-nonsense crafting tradition. The warhammer follows that pattern: a heavy head on a long shaft, built for one purpose. There is no ornamental flair or exotic design, just a functional weapon that hits hard and breaks things.

Combat Notes
The Thalwynd Warhammer shares its stat line (16 attack, no secondary bonuses) with the Bonepit Warhammer. In terms of raw performance, the two weapons are functionally identical. The choice between them comes down to availability and personal preference for regional aesthetics.
As a warhammer, it uses the overhead slam moveset that concentrates force into a narrow impact zone. This is more effective for breaking through enemy shields and poise than the wider swings of a greataxe, but covers less area per attack. Against single armored targets, warhammers outperform greataxes in stagger efficiency.
The five Abyss Core slots provide full customization flexibility. Since the weapon has no built-in secondary stats, players can build it in any direction: crit, speed, raw attack, or defensive utility.
Refinement
The Thalwynd Warhammer supports 10 refinement levels at a Blacksmith. Refinement increases the base attack value using materials from mining and gathering. The cost scales with each tier, and the weapon's straightforward stat profile means refinement provides a direct, linear damage increase without any complex interactions.
Tips
The Thalwynd Warhammer and Bonepit Warhammer are statistically identical at 16 attack with no secondary bonuses. Craft whichever recipe you unlock first.
Warhammers are strong against armored enemies. If you are heading into an area with heavily shielded foes, switch to this weapon for its poise-breaking overhead slams.
Since there are no built-in secondary stats, you can fully customize the weapon's identity through Abyss Core selection. Try stacking attack speed cores to offset the warhammer's naturally slow swing rate.
