How to Obtain
Red Seaweed is found by gathering along the shorelines of Demeniss and Delesyia. Look for red-tinted plants growing on rocks near the waterline. This is a region-specific material that cannot be bought from shops, making it one of the rarer cooking ingredients in the game.
Demeniss shoreline: Gather from rocky outcrops along the coast.
Delesyia shoreline: Additional spawn points along the eastern coastline.
Combine Red Seaweed gathering with fishing trips to the coast for maximum efficiency.
Uses
Red Seaweed is the only cooking ingredient that provides an Attack buff. When used in recipes, it contributes Attack +2 for 1 minute to the resulting dish. This makes Red Seaweed meals ideal for preparing before boss fights and challenging encounters.
Used in cooking recipes at bonfires and cooking stations.

Role in Stamina Upgrades
Beyond its use as a cooking ingredient, Red Seaweed plays a critical role in the stamina upgrade system. It is one of three special materials required to unlock maximum stat breakpoints through the Research Institutes. Specifically, Red Seaweed is tied to the maximum stamina breakpoint research project at the Urdavah Institute. To begin the stamina upgrade line, you need 10 Red Seaweed in your inventory. After completing the initial research, each subsequent stamina upgrade costs 5 Abyss Artifacts.
The three special materials for stat breakpoints are:
Red Seaweed for Stamina (maximum stamina breakpoint)
Wild Ginseng for Spirit (maximum spirit breakpoint)
Abyss Cell for Health (maximum health breakpoint)
Of the three, Red Seaweed is by far the easiest to collect. Wild Ginseng requires careful exploration of inland areas, and Abyss Cells drop from dangerous Abyss encounters. Red Seaweed, by contrast, spawns abundantly across a long stretch of open coastline with no enemies to worry about.
Best Farming Location
The single best area to farm Red Seaweed is the Shipwreck Shore, located south of Urdavah along the Delesyia coast. Red Seaweed spawns here in large clusters, far more densely than at any other coastal location in the game.
The spawn coverage at Shipwreck Shore is extensive. Nodes appear all the way along the coast, starting from the main Shipwreck Shore area and extending further south and east as well as further north along the shoreline. This means you are not limited to a single small patch; the entire stretch of beach is packed with gathering nodes.
How to Farm Efficiently
Farming Red Seaweed is straightforward. Head to the Shipwreck Shore and walk along the waterline. Look for distinctive red patches of foliage sitting on the sand. These are easy to spot against the pale beach. Walk up to each patch and interact with it to pick up the seaweed, then move on to the next one.
Because the nodes are so densely packed along this coastline, a single walk from one end to the other will typically yield more than enough Red Seaweed to cover the 10 needed for your stamina breakpoint research. There is no need to wait for respawns or revisit the area multiple times. If you do need additional quantities for cooking recipes, the nodes respawn after some time, so you can return to the same stretch of coast later.
For the most efficient route, start at the Shipwreck Shore waypoint and work your way south along the beach. Pick up every red cluster you see. By the time you reach the far end of the shoreline, you should have a full stock. You can combine this run with fishing along the coast or looting shipwreck containers for extra resources on the same trip.
Tips
Collect Red Seaweed whenever you visit the coast. Its Attack buff is unique among cooking ingredients.
Cook Red Seaweed meals before taking on bosses or Abyss encounters for an offensive edge.
Red Seaweed respawns over time, so revisit coastal gathering spots periodically.
Since Red Seaweed cannot be purchased, stockpile it when you have the opportunity.
