Overview
Fine Timber is a high-quality wood material in Crimson Desert obtained by logging rare tree species throughout Pywel. It has exceptional durability and is used for quality furniture, weapon components, and advanced upgrades at Greymane Camp. Fine Timber is harder to find than standard Timber because it only drops from specific tree types scattered across the world.

Use | Quality furniture, weapon components, advanced camp upgrades |
How to Obtain
Fine Timber is obtained by chopping rare trees with a logging axe. Common trees yield only standard Timber, so you need to identify the rarer species that produce Fine Timber. These trees tend to be larger and more distinctive-looking than ordinary ones.
Rare tree species scattered across Pywel. Look for trees that are noticeably larger or have unique bark textures.
A logging axe is required. Purchase one from Alden's Provisioner's Shop in Hernand, or craft a replacement at camp.
Logging tools have limited durability and break with extended use. Carry a spare axe when planning a long gathering session.
Uses
Fine Timber is required for advanced crafting projects at Greymane Camp. It is used in higher-tier construction and equipment crafting that standard Timber cannot fulfill.
Advanced Greymane Camp construction and facility upgrades.
Quality furniture and decorative camp items.
Used as a camp construction material (e.g., 5 Fine Timber per upgrade tier).
Tips
Chop every rare-looking tree you encounter. Fine Timber is uncommon and you will need it for late-game camp upgrades.
Always carry a spare logging axe. Tools break with use, and finding a rare tree without an axe means a wasted trip.
Combine Fine Timber gathering with mineral mining runs to make the most of exploration time.
