AION 2 fields nine playable classes on the Korean and Taiwanese build and presents eight for the global launch, covering tank, healer, melee, ranged and magic damage, and hybrid support.

Chanter is AION 2's staff-wielding support: mantras, Power of the Storm, party heals and shields, and a Dark Crush follow-up for damage.

Assassin is AION 2's dagger burst class: Insignia stacks, Heart Gore on critical hits, back attacks, stealth and poison.
