Marksman's Pants is the Rare legs piece of the Marksman's Rig set in Windrose. It is crafted at the Armor and Clothing Workshop after unlocking the Plans: Marksman's Pants recipe.

Overview
Rarity: Rare
Slot: Legs
Set: Marksman's Rig
Item Level: Base ilvl 1; scales to ilvl 11 through tier upgrades
In-game description
"Tortuga's marksmen favor attire made of light fabric. It allows easier movement across rough terrain and steadier shots at moving targets."
Defense
Like all Rare and Uncommon armor, Marksman's Pants has three crafting tiers that set its base Defense. Each tier can be upgraded several more levels at the Upgrading Station using the same recipe materials.
Item Level | Defense | Craft Tier |
|---|---|---|
1 | 100 DEF | Base tier |
6 | 160 DEF | Second tier (upgraded recipe) |
11 | 200 DEF | Third tier (top recipe) |
Crafting
Requires the craft plan Plans: Marksman's Pants to be unlocked first. The Plans: Marksman's Pants is sold by the People of Tortuga Provisioner at Reputation Rank 2 for 200 Piastres; the Provisioner is reached by building reputation with People of Tortuga.
Item Level | Station | Materials |
|---|---|---|
1 | 5 Coarse Fabric, 2 Rough Hide | |
6 | 5 Linen Fabric, 2 Tanned Leather, 1 Sewing Tools | |
11 |
Each tier unlocks a new workshop attachment: the Shoemaker's Bench at ilvl 6 and the Material Rack at ilvl 11. Both attach to the Armor and Clothing Workshop and require its Bonfire coverage to function.
Set bonuses
Marksman's Pants counts toward the Marksman's Rig 5-piece set. Set bonuses apply globally once the stated number of pieces are equipped at the same time.
Pieces | Bonus |
|---|---|
2-piece | Sprinting, Jump, and Dash consume 30% less Stamina. |
4-piece | Increases Ranged Damage by 15%. |
Flavor text
"First, shoot. Second, ask questions."
Notes
Together with the Marksman's Doublet, the Pants plan is one of the two main pieces sold directly by the People of Tortuga Provisioner at Reputation Rank 2.
Counts as one piece toward the Marksman's Rig 2-piece and 4-piece bonuses: pairing it with a second piece from the same set is usually the minimum to get value out of the plan.
