Necklace of Mastery

Necklace of Mastery is a Rare necklace in Windrose that grants +10 Mastery to the wearer. It is the Rare tier, which requires a learned plan to craft or ascend. It sits in the middle of the line and begins to use Gold Ingot and Sapphire in its recipes. Necklaces fill the neck accessory slot, so only one can be worn at a time.

Effect

Grants +10 Mastery to the wearer while equipped.

Mastery increases critical-hit chance by 0.5% per point, so +10 Mastery is worth 5% extra critical chance. It does not scale any single weapon directly, which makes it a universal pick.

Because the bonus is critical chance rather than raw damage, the Necklace of Mastery shines on builds that already hit hard per strike: Halberd and Club swings, or Musket volleys. It pairs naturally with the Privateer's Regalia set, whose bonuses also push critical hit chance and critical damage. The Mastery necklace line runs from Common to Epic. Each tier grants more critical chance and can be reached by ascending the tier below it.

Tips

• Only one necklace and one ring can be equipped at a time. Pick the line that best matches the weapon you are building around.

• Mastery does not scale any weapon directly, but extra critical chance compounds with damage from your main stat, so it benefits every build.

• Every necklace in this line disassembles back into Silver Ingot x3, regardless of tier.

• Ascending from a Minor necklace costs Gold Ingot x10 plus Silver Ingot x10, while crafting from scratch costs Gold Ingot x10 plus Sapphire x2. Pick the path that matches which material you have more of.

• Ascend the next tier up, the Major Necklace of Mastery, once you reach a level 2 Jewelery Table and have spare Tumbaga Ingot.
