That is high enough that a dedicated swamp-edge route will produce a reliable supply, but it is not guaranteed per kill. Biome Access Prerequisite
Standard Crocodiles appear in the Coastal Jungle and nearby wetlands from mid-game onward, but the denser Plague Crocodile populations live inside the Cursed Swamps. Cursed Swamps access opens after the second biome boss, which is the practical gate on turning the tail from a trickle into a stockpile.
