Establish a Fast Travel Bell near reliable crocodile spawns.

Additional Recipes
Crocodile Tail feeds more than Meaty Croc Kebab. Alongside the Epic +20 Strength dish, the tail is used in:
Skewered Crocodile Meat: 1x Crocodile Tail; a simple hunger-slot filler.
Crocodile in Swamp Sauce: 1x Mysterious Spice + 3x Crocodile Tail (Uncommon, +5 Vitality, 15 min Max HP).
Drop Sources
Crocodile Tail drops from both standard Crocodiles in the Cursed Swamps and Plague Crocodiles in deeper Swamps zones. Plague Crocodiles additionally drop Tainted Bile on top of the standard crocodile loot table. Exact drop rates are not guaranteed in normal play; treat both variants as RNG-based loot rather than guaranteed per kill.
Role in the Meta
Crocodile Tail is widely treated as the gateway ingredient to Strength-focused Epic cooking. Players who do not establish a reliable crocodile-farming route in the Cursed Swamps will cap out at +10 Strength from Spicy Breaded Kebab (Rare), rather than the +20 Strength Epic tier. For boss fights scaling against tougher enemies in the late game, the tail supply is effectively a hard requirement, not a luxury.
Verified Drop Rate
Current item data places Crocodile Tail at roughly an 80% drop chance from both standard Crocodiles and Plague Crocodiles. That is high enough that a dedicated swamp-edge route will produce a reliable supply, but it is not guaranteed per kill. Plan on needing a few extra kills over the raw ingredient count when preparing for a bulk cooking session.
Meaty Croc Kebab Full Recipe
The full kebab recipe uses the following ingredients at a Cooking Fire
The dish grants +20 Strength for 30 minutes, placing it in the Epic tier of buff food. Because Mysterious Spice is itself a chest-loot item from the Cursed Swamps rather than a renewable drop, the kebab tends to be the rate-limiting dish in any Strength-focused cooking plan, not the tail itself.
Biome Access Prerequisite
Standard Crocodiles appear in the Coastal Jungle and nearby wetlands from mid-game onward, but the denser Plague Crocodile populations live inside the Cursed Swamps. Cursed Swamps access opens after the second biome boss, which is the practical gate on turning the tail from a trickle into a stockpile.
