Values

Added specific 60-point unlock examples (5 values with confirmed urges), Zoi Card UI info, and Autonomy disambiguation
Values are dynamic aspects of a Zoi's personality that reflect their morals and beliefs. Unlike Traits (which are permanent and chosen during character creation), Values develop organically through what a Zoi does in Story Mode. Each of the 10 Values is tracked on a scale of 0 to 100. As a Zoi repeatedly takes certain actions, the corresponding Values rise. Values that are not reinforced gradually decline. This creates natural character arcs where a Zoi's personality shifts over the course of their life based on their experiences.
Every Zoi starts with Values influenced by their Traits and Desired Lives, which provide an initial boost toward certain Values. But Values are not fixed at creation; they rise and fall based on the actions the Zoi repeatedly takes throughout their life.
The key threshold is 60 points. Once any Value reaches 60 or higher, it becomes active and begins influencing the Zoi's wants, urges, and choices. The Value with the highest score becomes the Zoi's Core Value, the single most important principle guiding their personality.
When a Value becomes the Core Value, the Zoi gains three distinct benefits:
Unique social interactions: Value-specific conversations and social actions become available that are not accessible without a Core Value.
Value-based actions: Certain behaviors tied directly to the Core Value appear in the interaction menu.
Urge rewards: Urges that align with the Core Value generate Meow Coins when fulfilled.

When a Value reaches 60 or higher, it unlocks value-specific Urges and interactions. Here are confirmed examples:
Coexistence at 60+: Unlocks the ability to interact with cats in the park (Give Snack, Greet with a Treat, Receive Comfort Through Empathy). Fulfills the "Wants to Bond with Animals" urge.
Challenger at 60+: Unlocks the "Wants to Talk About Challenges" urge, with dialogue options like "Suggest Finding a New Hobby Together" and "Express a Desire to Travel to Different Places."
Accomplishment at 60+: Unlocks the "Wants to Show Off Trophies" urge. Interact with a trophy and select "Show Off" to earn Meow Coins and trigger the Tranquil emotion.
Autonomy at 60+: Unlocks the "Enjoy Your Music Alone" urge for solo instrument activities.
Traditionalist at 60+: Unlocks the "Study Tarot Interpretation" urge for fortune reading activities.
Values are displayed on the Zoi Card, accessible from the toolbar menu in the bottom-right corner of the gameplay screen. The Zoi Card shows the full personality summary including values, traits, desired life, ambitions, preferences, likes and dislikes, and dating preferences. Players can change their Preferences and Desired Life from the Zoi Card, but cannot directly manipulate value scores.
Note: The Autonomy Value (one of the 10 personality values representing independence) is separate from the Free Will / Autonomy game setting (toggled with the T key), which controls whether a Zoi acts independently through AI. These are two different systems that share a name.
Values fluctuate constantly based on a Zoi's actions. The system is designed so that Values reflect what a Zoi actually does, not just what the player intended. Some examples:
Frequent conflict and arguments decrease Love while increasing Challenger.
Regular interaction with animals and plants boosts Coexistence.
Consistently following routines and paying bills on time raises Rule-Abiding and Safety.
Pursuing career promotions and completing Ambitions raises Authority and Accomplishment.
A Zoi assigned the Life of Tranquility who spends all their time fighting will see their Safety and Coexistence values drop while Challenger rises.
Once a Value drops below 60 points, it loses its active status and stops influencing behavior. If the Core Value drops below another Value's score, the Core Value switches automatically.
