The Troll Peddler is an unusually generous max-trust target because the profession and race layers in the NPC Trust System double up on hides. Peddlers as a class accept drinks and meals; trolls as a race accept multiple hide types for +10 each and Honey Tea for +10 each. Because hides are one of the easiest items to farm in the game, a troll peddler can be capped from 0 to 100 in a single visit with a small bag of mixed hides.

Reward Pattern at Max Trust
As a peddler, the max-trust reward is various goods that match their wares. A troll peddler selling hide-derived trade items will skew toward hide-matched stock, while a troll peddler stocking ceramics or spices will reward items from that category. The reward is more predictable than profession classes like Wandering Free Swords (which give Cylindrical Wooden Boxes with RNG contents), so a troll peddler is worth farming precisely when you want what they are already selling.
Efficient Farming Loadout
Wear the Rabbit Leather Mask for +2 per action and, if available, any abyss gear with a trust-gain affix. Carry five hides and three Honey Teas per target, which totals +80 trust at base rates or roughly +96 with the mask. Combined with the daily greeting and (if applicable) a completed side quest, one visit caps the NPC.
