With 14 ATK and no secondary stat bonuses, the Tournament Spear is a straightforward damage upgrade over the 13 ATK spears. It shares the same crafting cost as the Alfonso Spear (Iron Ore x7, Copper Ore x3), so the choice between them comes down to whether the player values the Alfonso Spear's Critical Rate Lv. 1 or the Tournament Spear's higher base attack. For builds that rely on raw damage rather than critical hits, the Tournament Spear is the better pick at this tier.
