Spider Web as a Trust Gift
Spider Web is one of the five gift types accepted by the Fadu race in the NPC Trust System. Each web granted to a Fadu NPC raises their trust by +10. The rest of the Fadu gift list is cloth, long hair hide, short hair hide, and pelts, all at +10 each, so Spider Web slots in as a clean alternative when hides are temporarily short.
Why Spider Web Is Convenient
Unlike the hide options, Spider Web is harvested passively whenever you clear the many spider-infested ruins and caves in Pywel. That means every time you fight through a spider-heavy encounter you also accumulate Fadu trust currency without a dedicated farm route. For players who are already doing dungeon runs, Spider Web is the lowest-effort entry in the Fadu preference table.
Stacking With Other Fadu Gifts
A Fadu NPC will accept multiple different gift types in the same interaction (one of each counts), so the optimal burst is to hand over one of each preferred item: cloth, long hair hide, short hair hide, pelt, and Spider Web for a clean +50 trust on top of the +5 daily greeting and any quest bonus. With the Rabbit Leather Mask's +2 per action, that combo becomes +60 trust, enough to hit the 100 cap in two visits on almost any Fadu NPC.
Other Uses
Spider Web retains its crafting and alchemy roles outside of trust gifting, so there is no reason to over-commit your stock to the Fadu farm. Two or three webs per target Fadu NPC is enough; anything beyond that is better reserved for its other uses.
