Overview

Odeck's Protector Plate Armor is a Boss Plate Armor body armor piece in Crimson Desert. A plate armor once worn by the Forgotten General who guarded Odeck. The steel plates covering the chest and waist overlap like fortress walls, firmly absorbing frontal impacts. A thick rope around the waist keeps the armor secure, providing stability when thrusting a spear.

Odeck's Protector Set Acquisition Guide
The Odeck's Protector Plate set is split across five hidden pickups scattered around the world, with no blueprint or crafting involved. Each piece is retrieved directly from a cache, so the armor is effectively a cosmetic trophy once every location has been cleared. Most of the pieces can be collected at any point in the campaign, but the helm is locked behind a chapter 9 quest and cannot be grabbed early.
Set pieces and their unlock methods:
Helm: gated behind the chapter 9 quest The Veiled Witch, which lifts a curse at the helm's location. Focus Force Palm opens the rock cache.
Chest Armor: retrieved from a hidden hole that must be broken open with Focus Force Palm. Two nearby holes look similar, so target the correct one.
Gloves: unlocked by smashing one of the colorful rocks at its map marker with Focus Force Palm.
Cloak: looted from a cache in Pelu. The area is patrolled by black bears that stay hostile even after Pelu has been reclaimed, and aggro will block the pickup prompt.
Boots: hidden in a chest at a sanctum location. The sanctum does not need to be cleared; the chest can be looted directly.
All five pieces share the same silver finish by default, so the ingredients for a matching look are stored together once the full set is equipped. The pieces accept dyes, which allows for custom color schemes without changing the model.
Pickup Location
The chest piece sits behind a breakable wall in a cluster of holes on the map. Two of the openings look nearly identical, and only one of them holds the armor, so check the map marker carefully before swinging. Focus Force Palm is required to crack the correct hole open.
Common Mistake
Players often waste time trying to force the wrong hole or attempting to climb in without using Force Palm. Use the exact marker on the map rather than the nearest opening, and the armor can be looted in a single run with no combat.
