Overview
Long Hair Hide is a crafting material in Crimson Desert used for refinement at the blacksmith. It upgrades coats, leather armor, and jewelry. The material drops from wolves and boars, both of which are plentiful in the Hernand region.

Where to Hunt
Hernand Castle Woods
The dense woods north and northwest of Hernand Castle are the best area for Long Hair Hide farming. Boars roam throughout this stretch, and wolf packs appear in the same forests. Because boars don't have fixed spawn points, sweep through the entire wooded area rather than waiting at one spot.
Haunted Hill
The Haunted Hill zone also supports a boar population. If the Hernand Castle woods feel picked over (or you need a change of scenery), head here for another batch. Listen for boar grunts to locate them through the underbrush.
Crafting Uses
Long Hair Hide is used at the blacksmith during refinement to upgrade coats, leather armor, and jewelry. The coat upgrade is notable because Long Hair Hide is one of the few materials specifically listed for coat refinement. This makes it worth stockpiling even if you are well-supplied with other hide materials.
Farming Tips
Run the same loop as Fang farming. Wolves and boars drop Fang, Small Bone, and Long Hair Hide, so a single circuit yields three materials.
Boars charge when they spot you. Dodge sideways and punish their recovery window. Two or three cycles brings them down.
Wolves fight in groups. Pull one away from the pack with a bow shot, then finish it in melee before the rest close in.
