How to Craft
The Lizard Leather Cloak becomes craftable at any Blacksmith after reading Leather Armors of the World, Vol. IV. The recipe book is carried by a vendor but can also be lifted from a locked house at the Ridge Hunter Tannery, a small settlement near the Wayward Woods label in the middle of Pailune. Clear or avoid the outpost enemies, unlock the house with a key, and take the book off the shelf in the corner of the back room. The theft carries a bounty, so use a mask.
Useful Qualities
The Lizard Leather Cloak is one of the few thematic leather cloaks in the game that is refinable, so it scales meaningfully through the Refinement System. Together with the Lizard Leather Helm it forms a matched two-piece look with a scaled, snakeskin-style aesthetic.
