Overview
Grilled Fish is a recovery item (provision) in Crimson Desert. Its in-game description reads: "A dish with firm, fatty fish, expertly prepared and grilled to perfection. It is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, releasing a subtle, savory aroma." Grilled Fish offers slightly better healing than Grilled Meat (+100 HP vs. +80 HP) and provides a solid option for players who prefer fishing over hunting for their ingredients.

Grilled Fish requires a whole fish rather than fish fillets. Northern Pike can be caught by fishing in rivers and lakes across Pywel. The Nas River near Hernand is one of the earliest fishing spots available.
How to Cook
Cook Grilled Fish at any Field Grill (bonfire, campfire, or cooking pot). Open the Cook menu, navigate to the grilled items section, select Grilled Fish, and confirm. You need at least 1 Northern Pike in your inventory.
Comparison to Other Grilled Items
Item | Ingredients | Notes | |
|---|---|---|---|
+80 | 1 Meat | Cheapest, most efficient overall | |
Grilled Fish | +100 | Better HP per item, requires fishing | |
+100 | 1 Fish + 3 Salt | Same HP but costs more ingredients | |
+120 | Higher HP, Fire Res Lv 2 |
Tips
Grilled Fish has a higher sell price (13) than Grilled Meat (5), so cooking and selling fish can be a decent source of silver early on.
If you enjoy fishing, cook your catches into Grilled Fish for efficient healing. One Northern Pike yields +100 HP, which is a better per-item ratio than Grilled Meat.
For bulk healing during boss fights, Grilled Meat remains more practical because raw meat is easier to buy in large quantities from vendors.
Learn fishing early by observing the fisherman NPC at the Nas River. This unlocks the fishing life skill and gives you access to fish ingredients throughout the game.
