Overview
Fine Stone is a higher-quality mineral gatherable in Crimson Desert. It is characterized by its high density and few cracks, with a smooth surface that makes it suitable for detailed stonework. Fine Stone is more refined than ordinary Stone and is used for decorative construction, architectural buildings, and statues at the Greymane Camp. While not as rare as precious ores, Fine Stone is less abundant than common stone and requires visiting specific geological formations to gather.

Where to Find
Fine Stone appears in many of the same areas as regular Stone, though it is found less frequently. Deposits tend to appear in areas with larger, more intact rock formations rather than scattered rubble.
Near bodies of water: Smooth riverbed stones along the waterways of Hernand and Demeniss occasionally yield Fine Stone. The water erosion produces the smooth, crack-free surfaces that define this material.
Rock formations: Large exposed rock outcroppings and cliff bases throughout Pywel are the primary source. Look for boulders with visibly smoother surfaces compared to the surrounding terrain.
Quarry areas: Quarries and mining sites sometimes contain Fine Stone alongside standard mining deposits.
Fine Stone deposits respawn over time, just like other mineral gathering points. Mark productive locations on your map so you can revisit them when camp construction demands more material.
Uses
Fine Stone serves a different purpose than common Stone. While regular Stone covers basic construction needs, Fine Stone is reserved for more advanced and decorative projects:
Decorations: Ornamental elements at the Greymane Camp require Fine Stone. These include fountains, carved stone markers, and aesthetic features that improve the camp's appearance.
Buildings: Upgraded and advanced camp buildings use Fine Stone as a structural material. Certain building tiers cannot be completed with regular Stone alone.
Statues: Commemorative statues and carved figures at the camp consume Fine Stone due to the material's smooth, workable surface.
Like regular Stone, Fine Stone is not used for weapon or armor refinement at the blacksmith. It is purely a camp construction and decoration material.
Tips
Fine Stone is more useful than regular Stone for camp upgrades. Prioritize gathering it when you spot deposits, since decorative and advanced buildings consume it faster than you might expect.
Riverbeds tend to produce Fine Stone more consistently than desert areas. If you need to farm specifically for Fine Stone, focus your search along the waterways in Hernand and Demeniss.
Regular Stone cannot substitute for Fine Stone in recipes that specifically require it. Check your camp building requirements before gathering to make sure you are collecting the right type.
Carry both Stone and Fine Stone when heading back to camp. Many building projects require a mix of both materials.
