Overview
Brianto is one of the five standard horse breeds in Crimson Desert. It is a sleek, well-built horse prized as a racehorse, featuring high speed potential but the lowest base health and stamina among all horse breeds. Brianto serves as Damiane's default mount and becomes available to players once they unlock Damiane in Chapter 3.
How to Obtain
There are four ways to get a Brianto horse:
Default Mount: Brianto is automatically unlocked as Damiane's horse when you unlock her as a playable character in Chapter 3.
Tame in the Wild: Wild Brianto horses can be found roaming across Pywel. Approach a wild horse and jump on its back to begin the horse taming minigame. Move in the opposite direction to where the horse is facing relative to your camera position and keep doing this until the taming bar fills completely.
Purchase from Stables: Stable merchants in various towns sell Brianto horses for silver. This is the easiest option if you cannot find a wild one.
Steal from NPCs: You can steal a Brianto from bandits or non-hostile NPCs by equipping a mask first. Be aware that stealing is a crime and will increase your bounty.
Base Stats
Brianto has the following base stats at Level 1:
Stat | Value |
|---|---|
Health | 300 |
Stamina | 150 |
Attack | 7 |
Defense | 30 |
Movement Speed | 2 |
Acceleration | 1 |
Handling | 1 |
Jump Power | 1 |
While Brianto has the lowest base health and stamina among all horses, its stats improve significantly as you level it up through riding, feeding, and caressing.
Skills
As you level up your Brianto by riding and feeding it, the horse unlocks various skills. At maximum level, Brianto gains access to acceleration-focused abilities including Instant Acceleration and Consecutive Instant Acceleration, which provide exceptional speed bursts that make it one of the fastest horses in short sprints.
Other skills unlocked through leveling include Dash, Flurry Slash, Double Jump, Drift, Sprint, and Water Sprint. These skills make Brianto increasingly versatile as your journey progresses.
Horse Equipment
Like all horse breeds, Brianto can be outfitted with horse items at stables. Equipment slots include caparisons (appearance), horseshoes (speed bonuses), saddles (stamina bonuses), and stirrups (handling bonuses). Equipping the right combination of gear can offset Brianto's lower base health and stamina.
Comparison with Other Breeds
Brianto is the speed-focused breed among the five standard horses. Compared to the Hespia (starter mount), Brianto has better speed potential but lower survivability. For players who prefer a sturdier horse, Priden offers better health and jump power, while Elantrima provides a balanced stat profile. For the absolute best horses in the game, the three legendary breeds (Royler, Rokade, and Camora) outclass all standard breeds in every category.
Tips
Feed your Brianto regularly to level it up faster. Feeding is the quickest method for gaining horse experience.
You can also gain free horse XP by targeting your horse and pressing R to caress or pet it.
Brianto's low base health means it can be incapacitated in combat more easily. Consider investing in defensive horse items or switching to a sturdier mount for mounted combat.
If Damiane is your preferred character, Brianto is a natural fit since it comes automatically with her.
