Overview

Marni's Mechahorse is a unique mechanical mount in Crimson Desert that blends advanced technology with the form of a traditional horse. Unlike the living horse breeds found across Pywel, the Mechahorse is an artificial construct created by the enigmatic inventor Marni. It is one of the most visually distinctive mounts in the game, featuring metallic plating, glowing joints, and mechanical limbs.
The Mechahorse has two standout features that set it apart from every other mount. First, it does not consume stamina while riding, making it the best option for mapping out large areas without stopping. Second, it can venture underwater without restriction, allowing exploration of submerged areas that other mounts cannot reach. It also seats 2 riders, making it one of the few mounts that can carry a passenger.

The most striking stat is the 100 Attack, which is ten times higher than the base Attack of standard mid-tier horses (10) and surpasses even legendary horses like Camora (27 at Level 1) and Rokade (15 at Level 1). Only the Misthorn Branhok (163 Attack) exceeds the Mechahorse in raw melee damage output.
Location
Marni's Mechahorse is found just south of the main gate of the City of Delesyia, in the Eastern Hills area. The mechanical horse stands in an open area watched by a group of NPCs. Despite their presence, you can walk up to the horse and take it.
How to Obtain
Travel to the City of Delesyia and head south from the main gate toward the Eastern Hills.
Equip a Mask before approaching (required for the stealing mechanic).
Locate the mechanical horse standing near a group of NPCs.
Press the interact button to take the horse. The NPCs will spot you, but riding away quickly prevents a bounty from being applied.
Important Limitations
Cannot be kept permanently: As of the current version, Marni's Mechahorse cannot be registered at a Stable or summoned later. It functions as a temporary mount that is lost once dismounted or upon fast travel.
Cannot equip armor: Unlike regular horses, the Mechahorse does not accept horse armor or barding equipment.
No level progression: All stats are fixed at Level 1 values with no observed level-up mechanic.

Lore
The Mechahorse was built by Marni, an inventor and engineer whose creations appear throughout Pywel. Marni's technological innovations, including the Kuku Pot and various clockwork creatures, represent some of the most advanced machinery in the game world. The Mechahorse is one of the most ambitious of these creations, replicating the movement and form of a living horse through purely mechanical means.
Tips
The Mechahorse is ideal for extended exploration sessions thanks to its infinite stamina. Use it to scout large areas without worrying about stamina management.
Its underwater capability makes it perfect for reaching submerged treasure or exploring coastal areas.
Pearl Abyss has made other temporary mounts (like the White Bear and White Wolf) permanent in past updates, so permanent ownership may become available in a future patch.
The 2-seat capacity makes it useful for co-op exploration with a companion NPC or player.

Patch 1.04.00 Update
Patch 1.04.00 fixed an issue where sprinting and swimming actions did not work while the player was on Marni's Mechahorse, leaving the mount stuck at its base movement speed and unable to enter water. The mechahorse now reacts to the same sprint and swim inputs as a regular horse. See Patch 1.04.00 for the full bug-fix list.
How to Acquire it (Patch 1.04 Update)
Marni's Mechahorse spawns outside the south gate of the City of Delesyia in the Eastern Hills region. The game treats mounting it as a crime, so the player must equip a Mask before approaching the mount. With a mask equipped the theft completes without triggering a bounty. Without one, taking the Mechahorse registers as a crime and adds the player to the Wanted System. Re-acquisition uses the same theft sequence at the south gate; there is no purchase, quest, or breed path.
Patch 1.04 Mounted Action Fixes
Patch 1.04.00 fixed several mounted actions that did not work correctly on the Mechahorse before the patch, including sprinting and several swim animations. With the patch applied the mount handles the standard set of mounted controls reliably. The fix is part of the broader 1.04 mount overhaul that also restored the Cloudcart as a permanent summonable mount and fixed Blackstar's post-defeat behavior.
Limitations
The Mechahorse cannot equip armor, cannot fight alongside the player, and cannot be stored in the stable. The Mount Armor roadmap track plans to extend dedicated armor support to non-horse mounts, but at the time of Patch 1.04.00 the Mechahorse is not yet covered. See Summonable Mounts for the wider summonable-mount roadmap.
