Cloudcruiser

Overview

The Cloudcruiser is a Flying type mount in Crimson Desert, serving as the first upgrade to the base Cloudcart hot air balloon. While the Cloudcart provides basic aerial access, the Cloudcruiser offers improved fuel efficiency, allowing players to stay airborne significantly longer before needing to land. This makes it far more practical for extended exploration runs across the open world.

The Cloudcruiser shares the flying mount category with the Skystreaker and the Blackstar Dragon. While the Blackstar Dragon focuses on combat with its high Health and Attack stats, the Cloudcruiser is a lightweight aerial transport designed primarily for traversal and scouting from above.

Base Stats

With only 300 Health and no Attack or Evade stats, the Cloudcruiser is not designed for combat. Its purpose is straightforward: fly from point A to point B as efficiently as possible while conserving fuel.

How to Obtain

The Cloudcruiser is unlocked through the Enhanced Cloudcart Efficiency research project at the Scholastone Institute in Grunvar. Completing this research allows you to send a dispatch mission to craft the Cloudcruiser.

Improvements Over Cloudcart

The key advantage of the Cloudcruiser over the base Cloudcart is its improved fuel efficiency. The base Cloudcart burns through its fuel supply relatively quickly, limiting how far you can fly before needing to land and wait for a refuel. The Cloudcruiser extends airborne time significantly, making it practical for longer flights between distant locations.
