The Flat-Leaf Plant is distributed via retailer-specific serial codes. Players who pre-ordered the game from a participating retailer received the code via email or with their physical purchase.
Reach the first Pokemon Center PC and unlock the Mystery Gift menu.
Select "Get Items" then "Mystery Gifts" then "Get with Code/Password."
Enter the 16-character serial code provided by your retailer.

In-Game Acquisition
The Flat-Leaf Plant is also obtainable through normal gameplay in Sparkling Skylands. This means the Mystery Gift code is purely a convenience bonus, not an exclusive item. Players who do not pre-order can still acquire the plant by exploring Sparkling Skylands later in the game.
