Ditto Rug is a paintable furniture decoration in Pokemon Pokopia distributed as the universal early-purchase bonus through the Mystery Gift system. It is shaped like Ditto with a wide smile and serves as the most easily obtainable Mystery Gift, requiring no code or retailer-specific purchase.

How to Redeem
Reach the first Pokemon Center PC and unlock the Mystery Gift menu (approximately 30 minutes of gameplay).
Interact with the PC, select "Get Items."
Choose "Mystery Gifts."
Select "Get via Internet" (no code or password required).
Confirm to receive the Ditto Rug. The game auto-saves after delivery.
A Nintendo Account must be linked to the Switch 2 system to redeem, but a paid Nintendo Switch Online subscription is not required.
Eligibility
All purchasers (physical Game-Key Card or digital eShop) qualify for the Ditto Rug as long as they redeem before January 31, 2027 at 23:59 UTC. Purchase date does not matter; the rug is available to anyone who buys the game during the eligibility window.
In-Game Acquisition (After Mystery Gift Closes)
If you miss the Mystery Gift redemption window, the Ditto Rug remains obtainable through normal gameplay. It is not a permanently-missable item; the Mystery Gift simply offers earlier and free access to it. Specific in-game acquisition methods include trading or unlocking it through standard progression.
Tips
Redeem the Ditto Rug as soon as you have access to the Pokemon Center PC. There is no downside to claiming it early.
Place the Ditto Rug inside a habitat with Soft-stuff or Cute-stuff preferences for an early comfort boost.
The rug is paintable, so you can re-color it to match different room schemes after placement using the Paint item at any workbench.
This is the only Mystery Gift in Pokopia that requires no code, making it the easiest to redeem.
