Flea markets are open-air marketplaces scattered across the cities of inZOI where NPC vendors sell a variety of secondhand goods. Players can visit these markets to browse products, fulfill their Zoi's "Wants to Take a Look at the Flea Market" urge, and discover unique items. Beyond visiting public flea markets, players can also sell their own items through the Sell Secondhand option or by setting up a personal Flea Market Stand at home during Social Events. Selling secondhand goods is one of several ways to earn Meow, the in-game currency, alongside the Pocket Market app and regular employment.
There are three public flea market locations spread across Dowon and Bliss Bay. These markets open at 9:00 AM each day, though vendors typically need a few extra minutes to finish setting up their stalls. Expect to start interacting with merchants around 9:10 AM.
Location | City | Details |
|---|---|---|
The largest flea market in the game. Multiple stalls are set up in front of the giant cat statue near the stage and food stalls. This is the easiest market to find due to its size and central placement. | ||
Central Park (Fountain) | A smaller market with around four stalls located near the north end of Dowon. Look for the large circular fountain; the stalls are behind it along a row of benches, directly underneath an overpass bridge. | |
A single stall tucked away near the eastern side of the square. Look for the fountains with red balloons, a Cobas food truck, and picnic tables with red umbrellas under awnings. This is the hardest market to spot. |
Public flea markets are not marked on the map, so finding them requires some exploration. If your Zoi has the flea market urge active, heading to any of the locations above will satisfy it.
When you click on a public flea market stall, the available interactions are:
Ask About Product: The vendor describes the item they are selling. This is an informational interaction only.
Browse with Someone You Love in Mind: Your Zoi browses the stall looking for a gift to give to a friend or loved one.
Since inZOI is still in Early Access, purchasing items directly from public flea market stalls is not yet available. The developers may expand vendor interactions in future updates. For now, the primary value of visiting public markets is satisfying your Zoi's urges and discovering what kinds of goods are on offer.
Players have multiple ways to sell items they no longer need. The simplest method is the Sell Secondhand option, which lets you mark almost any portable item for sale without needing a dedicated stall.
Click on a small item in your Zoi's possession (it must be something that fits in their bag).
Select Sell Secondhand from the interaction menu.
Set your asking price. The item will be labeled "For Sale" once listed.
Other Zois who are not part of your household can now purchase the item.
You can remove an item from sale at any time if you change your mind. This method works from your Zoi's home lot or while out in the world. It does not require any furniture or special setup.
Not every item in your Zoi's inventory qualifies for secondhand sales. Only smaller, portable items can be resold this way. Here is a breakdown:
Sellable Items | Not Sellable |
|---|---|
Postcards, books, dolls, small decor | Art and paintings (sell via Pocket Market instead) |
Gifts and presents received from other Zois | Large furniture and appliances |
Vegetables and crops from gardening | Clothing worn by your Zoi |
Items picked up while exploring the world | Quest-related or special items |
Items belonging to other household members |
For artwork such as paintings, programs, and other skill-based creations, use the Pocket Market app on your Zoi's phone instead. The Pocket Market sells items instantly for a lump sum of Meow based on the item's quality.
If you want a more structured selling experience, you can purchase and place a Flea Market Stand in your Zoi's home through Build Mode. This gives you a dedicated stall where you can display and sell items to visiting NPC Zois during events.
Go to your Zoi's home lot.
Open Build Mode by pressing I.
Search for "Flea Market" in the search bar, or navigate to Furniture > Social Event.
Purchase and place the Flea Market Stand in a spacious area. The stand costs 270 Meow.
Exit Build Mode and interact with the stand to begin placing items for sale.
The Flea Market Stand is only usable during Social Events such as house parties. Outside of events, your Zoi can only examine the stand without using it. To make sales, plan a social event or check your in-game schedule for upcoming gatherings.
During a social event, click the stand and select Place Items for Sale. Choose items from your inventory, set individual prices for each one, then select Start Selling to open the stall. Items will sell automatically as NPC Zois browse and purchase them.
Important: Having a Flea Market Stand at home does not satisfy the "Wants to Take a Look at the Flea Market" urge. Your Zoi still needs to visit a public flea market location to fulfill that desire.
The free Island Getaway DLC (v0.3.0) introduced an expanded market stall system that gives players more control over public selling. Two stall types are available:
Stall Type | Cost | Details |
|---|---|---|
Secondhand Sales Counter | Available in Build Mode | A compact stall suitable for selling a small number of items. |
Wider Sales Stall | 330 Meow | A larger stall with more display slots. Available from the Farm Store in Cahaya. |
These stalls can be placed in public areas using the build menu (found under the Social Event category). Once placed, the selling process works as follows:
Click the stall and select Place Items for Sale.
Choose items from your inventory and set prices for each one.
Select Start Selling to open the stall and begin your sales session.
Use the actions on the left side of the selling screen: Greet Customers to engage shoppers, or Promote to attract more foot traffic.
When you are done, select End Sale to close the stall.
A full selling session typically runs about three hours in game time, though you can end early whenever you like.
While running a market stall, some NPC Zois may attempt to steal items instead of paying. You will notice Meow disappearing from your earnings rather than increasing. To stop a thief, click on the offending Zoi and select Fight the Thief. Successfully confronting a thief recovers your lost Meow and awards Karma points.
Setting the right price is critical to making sales. If your prices are too high, NPC Zois will hover over items, comment that they are "pricey," and may start booing before walking away. Here are some general guidelines:
Start moderate: Price items close to their base value. You can always adjust upward if items sell quickly.
Watch NPC reactions: If Zois boo or avoid your stall, lower your prices. If everything sells instantly, you may be able to raise them slightly.
Higher skill, higher value: Items created through skills like Gardening or Art sell for more when your Zoi has a higher skill level. The quality of the creation directly affects its sale price.
Pocket Market for instant cash: If you need Meow quickly, the Pocket Market sells items immediately at a fixed price. Use flea market stalls when you want to set your own prices and potentially earn more.
inZOI offers several ways to convert items into Meow. Each method has its own advantages depending on what you are selling and how quickly you need the money.
Method | Best For | Key Traits |
|---|---|---|
Sell Secondhand | Quick sales of small items | No furniture needed. Set your own price. Works anywhere. |
Flea Market Stand (Home) | Selling during social events | Costs 270 Meow. Only works during social events at home. |
Market Stall (Island Getaway) | Public selling with full control | Place in public areas. Greet customers and promote. Watch for thieves. |
Art, programs, and skill creations | Instant sale at fixed price. Higher skill means higher payout. | |
Shopping (Resale Shop) | Bulk selling of bag items | Talk to the saleswoman and select "Deliver" to sell items from your bag. |

Flea markets open at 9:00 AM but vendors take roughly 10 minutes to set up. Arrive a little after 9 for the best experience.
The Nuri Plaza flea market in Dowon is by far the largest and easiest to locate. Head for the giant cat statue.
Liberty Square's single stall in Bliss Bay is easy to miss. Look for red balloons and the Cobas food truck near the fountains on the eastern side of the square.
Place your home Flea Market Stand in a spacious, accessible area. If NPC Zois cannot reach the stand, they will not browse it.
When using market stalls from the Island Getaway update, avoid placing them directly on your home lot. NPCs may wander through your rooms while trying to reach the stall.
Greeting customers while running a stall improves their satisfaction and makes them more likely to buy.
Keep an eye out for thieves during stall sessions. Confronting them quickly prevents significant Meow losses.
Bonsai trees grown through advanced Gardening can be sold for strong profits due to their high base value.
