Elemental Resistance
Fire Resistance reduces damage from fire-based attacks, burning status effects, and environmental fire hazards. This is particularly useful in volcanic regions, against fire-wielding enemies, and during encounters with bosses that use flame attacks.
Check individual cloak effects rather than assuming a resistance from the material name. Earlier notes generalized that cloth cloaks provide Ice Resistance, leather cloaks Lightning Resistance and plate cloaks Fire Resistance. The Unyielding Warrior's Plate Cloak specifically lists Fire Resistance Lv.3; check each cloak's own effects.
How to Obtain
The recorded sellers are Temir at Calphade Equipment and Tranan at Camp Equipment. Its Smith recipe requires Iron Ore x2, Cloth Piece x11 and Fleece x2 after learning Plate Armors of the World, Vol. II. The recorded +10 card lists Defense 18, Fire Resistance Lv.3 and Stamina Cost -6%. These references do not independently validate the older 6.06 Silver quote as a current purchase price.
Purchase from the Hernandian Equipment Shop for 6.06 Silver.
Refinement
The Unyielding Warrior's Plate Cloak can be refined up to 10 levels at a Blacksmith. Each refinement level increases the cloak's base defense. Refinement requires specific materials with no currency fee.
Comparison
The following is an older three-cloak comparison, not a complete list of every fire-resistant cloak or a table normalized to the same refinement level. Its prices remain earlier quotes:
