Two-Handed Weapon Challenges
There are 6 two-handed weapon mastery challenges in Crimson Desert, split across two sub-series: Overwhelming Slash (longswords/greatswords) and Ground Shaking Impact (clubs and axes). Completing all six unlocks the Master of Two-Handed Weapons trophy and achievement.
Two-handed weapons become available during Oongka's storyline. Oongka automatically receives a two-handed axe at the end of Chapter 7. The challenges are scattered across Hernand and Pailune, so you will need to progress the story before you can attempt all of them.

Ground Shaking Impact Challenges (Clubs and Axes)
Challenge | Objective | Location | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|
Ground Shaking Impact 1 | Defeat 5 enemies with a two-handed club or axe | Pailune region (Sealed Abyss Artifact) | |
Ground Shaking Impact 2 | Defeat 10 enemies with a two-handed club or axe without taking damage | Pailune, on road south from Skoghorn | |
Ground Shaking Impact 3 | Send 5 enemies flying at once with a two-handed club or axe | Pailune, southwest intersection near Torvak Camp | 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Destruction II |
Tips and Strategy
Two-handed weapons are slow but powerful. The challenges reflect this by asking for knockbacks, group hits, and area damage rather than speed.
Overwhelming Slash 3: Knocking back 10 enemies in 30 seconds requires a dense group. Hernandian Ruins often has bandit camps nearby with enough enemies. Use the longsword's wide horizontal sweep to push multiple enemies per swing.
Ground Shaking Impact 2: Ten kills with no damage is the hardest challenge in this set. Seek out weak bandits in Hernand and take them out methodically. The two-handed axe's reach helps keep you outside enemy attack range.
Ground Shaking Impact 3: "Send flying" requires a charged slam attack. Group five enemies tightly (lure them into a narrow space) and unleash the axe slam. All five need to go airborne from one hit.
Remember that Oongka receives the two-handed axe at the end of Chapter 7. If you want to start these challenges earlier, look for longswords in shops or as loot. Both weapon subtypes count toward the Master of Two-Handed Weapons trophy.
Reward Summary
The six challenges collectively award Abyss Artifacts and the Destruction II passive ability (significantly increased heavy attack damage). The Master of Two-Handed Weapons trophy unlocks upon completion of all six.
