Overview
Test of Strength Challenges are a set of 4 challenges in Crimson Desert under the Minigame category. These challenges all revolve around arm wrestling, a physical minigame found at inns throughout Pywel. Each challenge requires building a win streak against increasingly difficult opponents and then defeating a champion. Completing all Test of Strength Challenges (along with the Duel Challenges) contributes toward the True Gamer trophy and achievement.
Arm wrestling is a timing and reaction minigame. You face an opponent across a table and try to overpower them by pressing buttons at the right moments. Champions at the end of each win streak are significantly harder than regular opponents.
How Arm Wrestling Works
Find an arm wrestler at an inn (look for the arm wrestling table). Sit down and the match begins. The minigame uses quick-time events where you need to press buttons at the right time to push your opponent's arm down. Mistiming your presses gives your opponent an opening to push back.
Each Test of Strength challenge requires you to win a specific number of consecutive matches, then beat the champion as the final opponent. Losing any match resets your streak, so you need to win them all in a row.

Detailed Walkthroughs
1. Hero's Handshake 1
Head to the inn at Hernand Castle. Find the arm wrestling table and challenge the arm wrestler there. You need to win 3 consecutive matches against regular opponents, then a 4th match against the champion.
The first three opponents are relatively straightforward. Focus on the timing prompts and press the button right when the indicator lines up. The champion (the 4th opponent) is noticeably harder. His timing windows are tighter and he pushes back more aggressively. If you lose at any point, you have to restart from the first match.
The reward is money, which may not sound exciting but makes this a repeatable income source. You can rechallenge the arm wrestlers anytime.
General Strategy for All Hero's Handshake Challenges
The Hero's Handshake challenges likely follow the same format at different inns across the regions: win a streak of matches, then beat a local champion. Each inn's champion gets progressively harder.
Watch the timing indicator carefully. Press the button exactly when the marker hits the target zone.
Early opponents are forgiving with timing. Do not rush; be precise.
Champions have faster timing windows. Stay calm and react rather than anticipating.
If you lose, you restart from the first match. Take a breath between attempts.
Tips
Arm wrestling can be found at inns in major towns. Look for the dedicated table and the NPC arm wrestler.
You can rechallenge arm wrestlers after completing the challenge, making it a repeatable money source.
Champions are much harder than regular opponents. Practice your timing on the regular matches first.
Test of Strength Challenges count toward the True Gamer trophy alongside Duel Challenges.
If a champion seems impossible, come back later. Some challenges may be easier after progressing in the story.
