Cannon Challenges
There are 5 Hand Cannon mastery challenges in Crimson Desert, grouped under the Barraging Cannon series. These challenges focus on the explosive, area-damage nature of the hand cannon. Completing all five unlocks the Master of Artillery trophy and achievement.
The hand cannon becomes available when playing as Oongka starting at the end of Chapter 7. Because the weapon is tied to a specific character, you cannot attempt these challenges until that point in the story.

Tips and Strategy
The Hand Cannon deals heavy burst damage in a small area, but it reloads slowly and has limited ammo. Every challenge here rewards precise shot placement and good positioning.
Barraging Cannon 1: Three enemies in one shot. Lure a group close together and fire into the center. Bandit camps with enemies sitting around campfires are ideal targets since they cluster naturally.
Barraging Cannon 5: Watchtowers appear in enemy fortresses and camps. You need to destroy two within 10 seconds, so scout the location first and position yourself where both towers are visible. Fire at one, reload, and immediately fire at the second.
Cannon ammo is limited compared to arrows. Keep an eye on your supply and restock at merchants before attempting challenges. The Steelbane I passive from Barraging Cannon 1 increases your damage against structures, which directly helps with Barraging Cannon 5.
Reward Summary
The Barraging Cannon series awards Abyss Artifacts alongside the Steelbane I (bonus damage to structures) and Shatter I (bonus damage to shields and armor) passives. Finishing all five grants the Master of Artillery trophy.
