Overview
Trust Lost is a short narrative quest in Chapter 7: Homecoming. Kliff arrives in Beighen to find a tense and unsettling atmosphere. The villagers show open hostility toward the Greymanes and refuse to cooperate. This quest is entirely dialogue-driven, with no combat, puzzles, or special objectives.
Walkthrough
Speak with Comrades Who Arrived First
When you enter Beighen, proceed to the village entrance where several NPCs are standing on the road. Interact with them to learn about the situation. The villagers want nothing to do with the Greymanes, and the conversation explains why tensions are running so high.
Meet Naira and Andrew
Head north through the village. Continue past the main buildings until you reach an intersection. Look for Naira and Andrew standing near a structure with a red fence. Approach and speak with them. The quest completes as soon as the dialogue finishes.
Tips
This is one of the shortest quests in Chapter 7. It exists purely to establish the hostile atmosphere in Beighen and set up the investigation in the next quest, Bared Fang.
Take this opportunity to explore Beighen. There is a fast travel point and a cooking pot nearby that will be useful later.
