Tariv Cloth Attire is an Epic Armor piece in Crimson Desert. Crafted by the Tariv Sorcerers, this cloth chest piece provides Movement Speed Lv.1 along with a Damage Reduction socket stat. While its Defense is lower than leather or plate chest armor, the utility of Movement Speed makes it a strong choice for builds that prioritize mobility.

The Movement Speed bonus on the Tariv Cloth Attire stays at Lv.1 regardless of refinement level. This is lower than the Tariv Cloth Boots, which provide Lv.2 (scaling to Lv.3). Combined, the full Tariv cloth set provides up to Lv.4 Movement Speed from the chest and boots together.
Defense Trade-Off
As a cloth chest piece, the Tariv Cloth Attire has less raw Defense than plate or leather alternatives. In practice, this trade-off is often worth it. During the early and mid game, most enemies do not deal enough damage for a few ranks of defense to matter significantly. In endgame content, incoming damage is so high that the difference between cloth and plate defense is similarly negligible. The Movement Speed bonus, on the other hand, provides a noticeable improvement to traversal speed at all stages of the game.
How to Obtain
The Tariv Cloth Attire is sold by the tailor in the village of Tariv in northern Demeniss. It requires 100 reputation with the tailor NPC before it becomes available in the shop. This is the same reputation requirement as the Tariv Cloth Boots.
Reputation can be earned by giving copper pouches (approximately 5 reputation each) or by crafting books you have already read (approximately 10 reputation each). At 100 reputation, the tailor's full inventory can also be added to your Greymane Camp shop.
