Overview
The Reventine Priest's Spear is a two-handed weapon in Crimson Desert that provides increased attack speed for faster melee combat. At 15 Attack Power with Attack Speed Lv.1, it offers a solid combination of damage and speed for a spear. The weapon's name connects it to Reventine, suggesting it was carried by or crafted for the priests of that region.
Spears with an attack speed bonus change the feel of two-handed combat noticeably. The Reventine Priest's Spear lets you land quick successive thrusts where a standard spear would force you to wait between strikes. This makes it well suited for players who want the reach of a polearm without the usual sluggishness.

Combat Tips
The attack speed bonus is the Reventine Priest's Spear's main selling point. In practical terms, it means you can land two or three quick thrusts in the time it takes most spears to complete two. That difference matters against agile enemies who only present brief attack windows before dodging away.
Use the spear's reach to fight at maximum distance, poking enemies with fast thrusts before they can close the gap. When an enemy staggers, the attack speed bonus lets you pile on additional hits during the stagger window, squeezing more damage out of every opening than a slower spear would allow.
Compared to the Bamboo Spear, which also has an Attack Speed bonus, the Reventine Priest's Spear trades 5 points of base Attack Power (15 vs. 20) and the Critical Rate bonus for a lower crafting cost and easier availability. If you have not yet reached the area where the Bamboo Spear is found, the Reventine Priest's Spear is an excellent substitute.
The 5 core slots give room to customize the spear to your needs. Attack-boosting cores help close the damage gap with stronger spears, while defensive cores can make the speed-focused hit-and-run playstyle even safer.
