Purchase the armor at the Hernand Equipment Shop after defeating Matthias in For Honor; the guide names Rhett and a price of 6.18 Silver. It lists no installed Abyss Gear, which does not independently establish the maximum expandable capacity behind the inherited three-slot claim below.

How to Obtain
Becomes available for purchase after completing the "For Honor" quest by defeating Matthias.
Craft Canta Plate Armor at a Blacksmith with Iron Ore x7 and Copper Ore x2 after reading Plate Armors of the World, Vol. II. Blacksmiths handle this recipe separately from refining an existing armor piece.
Armor Set
Canta Set (includes Canta Plate Helm, Canta Plate Boots, Canta Plate Gloves, Canta Plate Cloak).
Armor sets in Crimson Desert share a visual theme across equipment slots but do not currently provide set bonuses when multiple pieces are worn together. The primary benefit of wearing a matching set is cosmetic. Individual pieces within a set still need to be refined separately to improve their stats.
Notes and Tips
The Canta Plate set is one of the most complete armor sets in the game, with matching pieces for every equipment slot. All pieces become available after the For Honor quest, where Kliff must defeat Matthias in a duel. The armor features 3 Abyss Core slots for customization.
This armor can be refined through the Refinement System. Normal refinement uses the listed materials; if choosing Fusion instead, check that route separately rather than assuming normal refinement requires both ordinary materials and duplicate armor.
