How to Obtain

The Balton Large Shield is crafted at any Blacksmith once the player has read the Shields of the World, Vol. 1 crafting manual. This manual can be purchased at the Equipment Shop in Calphade, Hernand for 50 Copper. The crafting recipe requires Timber x10 and Fine Timber x5. Both materials are commonly gathered from logging spots throughout the Hernand region.
