Overview
The Balgran Shield is a shield in Crimson Desert that is included as a bonus item with the Digital Deluxe Edition and Physical Deluxe Edition of the game. At 5 DEF with both Attack Speed Lv. 1 and Movement Speed Lv. 1, it is one of the strongest starting shields available. It also comes pre-refined to Refinement level 3, giving it additional value right from the start.

How to Obtain
The Balgran Shield is obtained by purchasing the Deluxe Edition of Crimson Desert. Both the Digital Deluxe Edition ($79.99) and the Physical Deluxe Edition ($89.99) include this shield as part of the Deluxe Pack, which also contains the Kairos Plate armor set and the Exclaire Horse Tack Set.
To claim the Balgran Shield in-game, navigate to the Others tab in the menu, open the Options sub-tab, and select Add-on. The Deluxe Pack will be available for separate purchase after release for players who bought the Standard Edition.
Usage Notes
The Balgran Shield's combination of 5 DEF, dual speed bonuses, and pre-applied Refinement 3 makes it an excellent shield for the early hours of the game. The Attack Speed Lv. 1 and Movement Speed Lv. 1 bonuses help players stay mobile and responsive during combat. Two Abyss Gear slots allow for further customization with Abyss Cores. While its stats will eventually be surpassed by mid-game and late-game shields, the Balgran Shield provides a significant early advantage for Deluxe Edition owners.
